What if nothing changes after yrs of struggle?

I'm experimenting with showing different levels of interest. Because of my past I was afraid to show any interest because it usually led to rejection.

Once or twice, casually, should be enough. Too much and you're clingy and desperate. Never, despite what PUAs say, and they will think you're NOT interested and never consider it.

Just inviting them out...alone...is usually enough to show you're interested.

I have a feeling that some people equate struggle with suffer. They suffer but they are not struggling.
