As for the intelligence and career idea.. It may not necessarily mean anything, but could mean something. Hence the idea of the "red flag".

I don't know about anyone else, but to me.. A red flag is something that says to me "proceed with caution" not "Don't proceed at all".

For example: A girl tells me she likes to go out to the clubs. (Okay, red flag.. She might be an AW.) So then, I make sure to look out for AW behaviors (talking to lots of guys, gives out her number often, adds a bunch of people she doesn't know on facebook, sh1t like that.) If this gets to a point where I'm no longer willing to put up with it, then it's NEXT.

You could say "well why put up with it in the first place?" well there's always sh1t you have to put up with in a woman. No woman is going to be that perfect chick that never puts up a fight with you, and always wants what you want. But when the BS gets to a significant drudgery, then it's time to throw in the towel on that one and let some other dude pick her up along the way.

why? anyone? sorry for reposting.

also, would you consider inability to drive and lacking willingness to learn it as a red flag?

Personally I think some of the things mentioned here are more of the deal breaker variety. As in, as soon as you find out these things about her, you don't even waste your time getting involved. Whereas red flags are more of a, you're already involved with her, but little things along the way pop up that may get your guard up. Either way everything listed is definitely stuff to stay away from. Sad to go through these pages and realize how many chicks fit some or all of these traits

@PairPlusRoyalFlush: thanks man, that's enlightening. I was a bit worried about his lack of willingness to learn to drive. I mean, I can't recall any 23 year old chick who can't drive.

@MisterD: yeah, probably 90% chicks fit some of these traits.

After reading all the posts in this thread I can only conclude 1 thing

red flag = being a modern woman!

I mean seriously are women this bad now a days? Should we even be having a discussion about red flags when it seems women now a days themselves are red flags due to their crazy nature.

Tough to say man. Tough to say. You could certainly argue those of us on this forum have a bias since the bulk of us are here because of bad experiences with women. But I do believe the quality of women has dropped significantly. Sometimes I think I have high standards and I'm expecting too much from them, other times I say to myself "am I really asking for too much? I just want a physically attractive girl with a solid personality". The fact that I'm seeing a lot of good quality men dateless/settling for low quality girls nowadays leads me to believe its slim pickings out there right now.

Any woman with bad credit.

How could we forget this?!

Any woman who likes to "shop for only the best."

Golddigger alert!
These red flags here in this post are pretty damn good, but when it boils down to it, women are crazy. We've all had bad experiences with women. Otherwise, sites like these wouldn't exist.

All in all, every straight man wants a woman. Every woman has some degree of craziness and problems.

Here's Judge nismo's million dollar question: How much craziness and problems are you willing to deal with? And there is always another man in the picture somewhere in her life.

For every pretty b**ch you meet, there's at least 10 guys can't wait to dump her, at least 100 guys who can't wait to hump her!

Roll with the punches. :box:

Case closed.

I haven't read the whole thread..Saw parts of it which I don't disagree with at all.

One Red Flag is if she's ever used Plenty of Fish.

If she resorted to free online dating, you can rest assured she's a nutjob who's been around the block doing god knows what with strangers who picked her up online. Trust that.
