Yeah, that's a mistake I made early on. Just going up and asking for a number is pointless. You need to spark some interest and observe some mutual attraction before asking for a number. I think the reason he had no success is obviously his lower SMV but he could have had some success if he had a bit more game. Although, watching a guy like that makes me realize I'm pretty lucky in terms of SMV (on top of work of course). Being 6'1 and broad shouldered versus short and a bit strange.
That said, I always go back to the guy who used to get laid the most off Tinder that I knew was 5'4! I lived with him for a year, dude was a natural alpha. Pure game, banged some of the hottest trashy women. Tattoos, big fake tits etc etc. Game makes all the difference.

I'm with MatureDJ on this. Okay, he gets laid a lot, but I'm not sure that banging a bunch of trash makes you alpha.
I agree but it's what most guys seem to think the goal is. There was some definite HB8 and 9's in there. But they were typically young and/or damaged.

That's a no true scotsman though unless you can make an objective standard of what counts and doesn't count that everyone agrees on which isn't obviously biased, something simple like "no trannies, no fatties, no addicts, no mentally ill chicks, etc."
But if you can just use arbitrary standards like "she's not hot enough" or "she's not classy enough" then you could do that about any girl and suddenly banging taylor swift isn't an accomplishment lol

However, bear in mind that I think a lot of this alpha talk is ridiculous to begin with. And that I've never believed that an alpha should be defined solely by his relationships to and with women (although I guess for practical purposes, that's all guys here care about).
By the way lol, I'm sure there are a lot of guys here who would tell you that Taylor Swift is hideous and that banging her isn't an accomplishment. I don't think she's unattractive, but she's a little tall for my taste. Plus she started looking a lot more glamorous once she was able to move into a higher grade of makeup and makeovers. Besides, status isn't really an attraction factor when it comes to women. I guess it would make for some bragging rights, I guess, or turn into a song

Tinder is less 'game' since you are already pre-selected so it's usually a matter of guaranteed sex as long as you don't COMPLETETLY screw it up on the meet. Again, hard to imagine with a 5ft4 guy but i'll take your word for it!
To be fair, he is attractive. Bad boy covered in tatts, plays in a band, Tinder profile was all professional photos of him playing in the band shirtless, showing all the tatts. Every woman I met that he hooked up with was basically the example of daddy issues so it's not like he was pulling top shelf women, but they were often hot. Still, very short and had the natural alpha mentality. He was in his 30's but looked younger. Point being though, he was shorter than almost all the women he dated, they knew his height before they met him. So height can be an issue, obviously, but don't let it defeat you.
