They are leaving because they aren't stupid and know the war by proxy that is about to unfold for the resources in the region, they are all well aware their lives are like tertiary to first world country collecting resources, China has already recognized the Taliban as an official government lol this is going to get disastrously messy quick

The problem isn't that we're leaving, it's the way we've done it. We should have gotten the civilians and Afghan aides out first, while we still controlled our zones, instead of pulling out the soldiers and winging it from there.

Exactly. Whoever engineered this debacle made the US look like amateurs …
The main problem now is the question of what kind of and how much effort is takes to undo this mess. If we don’t act, we likely have the biggest hostage crisis in history.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Yes, the allies put on their shoes before their socks on this one. To leave behind thousands of Afghan collaborators to be slaughtered by the Taliban would be totally unacceptable. Everyone who helped allied forces over the past 20years should be airlifted out pronto.

Yes, it’s a sad situation in Kabul. US troops inside airport now at 6K, but no authorization to go beyond gates. Basically the Taliban control the perimeter unless the US makes a move.
Two other countries troops, French and British I believe actively physically helping their own in country citizens to mobilize to airport and get out.
A sad day when the most powerful country on earth gives up the high ground and basically surrenders to 70K guerrillas, without a prior plan in place for citizens and friendly evacuations…
Makes me wonder what kind of mentally compromised individuals are in charge.

They're more concerned with pushing their woke ideology than anything resembling military strategy.

Yes, but I don’t understand how our unevacuated citizens in country over there can be both woke and dead simultaneously. Sounds like the mother of all contradictions …
Will be a very bad omen if we have to wait too long for their personal unanswered opinion about our country.

To be fair, it was the anti wokesters who made the immigration requirements so difficult as to be impossible. Thousands of these people would already be here if we hadn't made the paperwork intentionally too difficult for most of them. They are supposed to get employment documentation from contractors who have long ago left the country. These are the papers that the taliban execute you over if they find them on you, so you can understand the reluctance to carry them around for years.

Well maybe the “most powerful country on earth” tag was just sweet propaganda and pure Hollywood hype. Powerful countries with top notch militaries dont surrender to just 70k guerillas on donkey-back after 20 years of battle
