Canned tuna fish - it's a convenient source of protein, but by itself it's so dry and tasteless that it's hardly appetizing. And sometimes preparing it is such a damn hassle when you're in need of a quick protein fix.
After a bit of experimenting I've found a good and pretty tasty way to eat tuna right out of the can - just empty out two packs of ketchup (the kind they hand out at fastfood chains) into a can of tuna, mix throughly, and eat.
It's a bit primitive and may sound gross to some, but it's actually very good. Don't knock it til you try it. And other than the sodium from the ketchup it is a benign and healthy meal.
And since we're on this topic - does anyone else know ways of quickly and instantly preparing canned tuna for consumption? Adding salt and pepper does not count.
