Travelling is overrated

One thing I've noticed is that women these days have an obsessions with two things: trendy restaurants and travelling. They literally live for those two things. It's the shallowest kind of existence.
It's because those are the kinds of things men buy pretty girls for free. (Or for sex)

I'd go out to eat every day and travel every month if I got to go for free.

I live in Australia, where it takes 12 hours and thousands of dollars to fly to Europe, it's a gigantic amount of effort especially if the trip is only for a week or two.

Traveling within Australia is not that exciting, this is a very boring country. What is there to do in sydney? See a bridge or an opera house?
Aren't there extremely badass animals everywhere in Australia?

I would never again date a chick who is obsessed with traveling. They dont give a flying fvck about anything but their little trip when it comes down to it.
I would never date a woman obsessed with travelling because she chose the most expensive hobby possible. It's like dating a woman with a shopping addiction.

Most people travel because they genuinely want to see the place they are traveling to, or they genuinely enjoy the traveling experience.

Only fist fvking sosuavers associate traveling with getting laid.
I always associated travelling with partying. You know Spring Break (Cancun, Miami) and Las Vegas, etc.

And then partying of course is associated with getting laid.

Your on the money. I have always seen that pattern first hand. Chicks who love to travel or have traveled all through 20s usually are a bit more easy to sack. They have had atleast 2 one night stands when traveling.
I worked in a cruise ship in hawaii and a steamboat in Alaska. I met alot of chicks from all across the US who just wanted that freedom to travel. Very similar unstable traits.

The last plate I walked away from started her sh!t testing low interest bs right before traveling to cancun with her family.
I dropped her two days before her trip and kept on walking. I wasn't going to tolerate any low interest disrespect.

Southeast Asia and Japan are more accessible to you though.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

It's amazing how many people choose the latter. Good for us though
It’s disheartening as well…

I know many people that could benefit from what I could share including longtime friends and even my brother.

I now understand why successful individuals tend to spend very little time with those who are not on the same path.

When you do see them, they say stupid $hit like “traveling is overrated”

That really is more a matter of how stable the region is and what you were looking to experience there. Not every location will "always be there" in the form one might seek to visit it. To use your examples, London and Manila might "always be there" in that they'll likely retain a form currently recognizable indefinitely. But people who wanted to visit, say, Venezuela before its collapse, or Xinjiang before Red China turned it into a concentration camp, will not have that opportunity in the foreseeable future.
what normal person is planning bro trips to Xinjiang every year? I literally work with people that take trips like that and the reality is that you aren’t that special. Out of everything that I’ve done in life, getting in shape and having a decent job has helped way more with women than my travel stories to Asia.

Exactly. I was there this week. Lots of steps to get to the Opera House, good exercise. It has an amazing Chinatown section. Nice fair around the shore and it looks nice taking that ferry and going behond the opera house and bridge. It was nice.

I watched 360 degree youtube video ony VR. Felt wierd the rest of the day but it felt like I was there. Its like I felt the nice breeze in my face there too and just that south Hemisphere feeling. There is a cafeteria in the Opera House, saw it through the window.

You have nice yellow streetcars too. Nice night scene. Has a chill atmosphere. Now tell me, am I imagining that or is that right portrayal from the 360 vids?

Whenever Jake or a few others say something, always do the opposite.

Traveling gives you new experiences and more stories to tell. Boring people have nothing to talk about. The well traveled tend to be the most interesting people to be around. It also helps with women cause they see you are a world explorer.

then I don’t want to hear you complain about OLD women again because 95% of them are “well traveled”!

here’s how it goes:

Stranger: Jake you’ve been to China? How was it?

Me: it was good, I really enjoyed this and that.

stranger: that’s amazing, I want to go someday.

NEXT TOPIC: Essentially it’s a conversation starter at best unless you’re a self centered narcissist that needs constant attention ammo like most toxic females.

Sometimes I swear you are a woman behind that account but that sad part is that I am wrong.

I don`t really think that traveling is overrated. It`s fun when you are moving to another city or even country.

Now, I think 1-2 vacations a year with a couple of weekend breathers is completely normal. However, it can come to a point to where people use travel as an unhealthy cope/escape. I see a lot of topics about girls in fricking Romania or NYC on this board, but not a lot of self-improvement. It sickens to me to see someone that does not have his shvt together physically, financially, and mentally talking about geomaxing and black pill shvt. Use that money to improve yourself like hiring a therapist, physical trainer/going to a better gym, career self-development, etc. You do not need to go to Vegas with the boys every 2 months and London/Manilla are always going to be there.

I did a lot of my travelling when I was in spots in my life that I was trying to escape (like Nashville). Everything would be great, but I would always get super depressed and moody on the flights back and this would completely wipe out any previous happiness I had while travelling. I had to cope for my undesirable position in Nashville by taking at least 2 international trips a year. The people I see travelling frequently are people with a lot of toxicity in their life. AKA, I would be a millionaire if I had a nickel for all of the Travel Thots I run in to on Hinge, Tinder, and Instagram.
Geomaxxing does not correspond with the man not having his sheet together - but rather with the fact that American women are putrid.

I don’t like crowds or delays or bad luck.
Otherwise I like jetting around the world.
I like adventure travel and challenging terrain.
I’m planning a South Pacific surf trip in ‘23.
Yes, I've traveled extensively and have about 300 different ski resorts under my belt. If I had remained in my own state, I would have 0 resorts under my belt. Speaking of having other action under my belt from traveling ...

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.
