What is your background then? It's not just that, even if you are white, it doesn't mean you are going to agree with their beliefs and if you don't you'd still be an outsider to them. For example, if you see them beating up and/or raping a black inmate are you just going to participate in that in order to get their protection? Just worrying if you pass for white enough for them to think you are white is very nearsighted.

OP mainly talks about the second category. I do believe ( and said this before) that out of the "infamous 63%" TONS of them will turn some form of gay.
