No I don't think it is the gluten, some people are just allergic to wheat. Rye bread is good for me and it contains gluten. Have you read "Get rid of Acne today" on this forum. It saved my very bad acne.

Whoa I didn't know wheat could cause someone to break out! Makes sense,I used to pound down at least a half a loaf of wheat bread and my face used to break out. Knowledge is power!
I used to think I was tough when I could eat 15 wheat bix for breakfast, and for afternoon tea. My acne was terrible.

Buy some acnezine by revitol, they have a website you can order from. It's basically a vitamin pill, but it worked for me. I used to get the occassional spot every week but after 2 months taking that and cleaning my face with a wipe after working out I have pretty much perfect skin.

This is interesting. I go to a dermatologist to get rid of my acne. I have moderate acne, and she prescribed Finacea (along with other things of course) to help clear up my blemishes while also preventing some acne.

So the nerd in me likes to research the stuff she gives me. Well in the sample box that she gave me for Finacea has a bunch of study jargon. In it, I found an interesting tidbit:

Patients were instructed avoid spicy foods, thermally hot foods and drinks, and alcoholic beverages during the study.
Hmm... sounds like they see some correlation.

bling, how is that Solodyn working out? I have some kind of weird acne where there is slight reddening/scarring deep beneath the skin long after the bump is gone. I've been wanting to see a dermatologist but it's gonna be so fvcking expensive...
I know I'm late, and I'm sorry, but Solodyn was **** for me. It gave me personally heartburn, on top of the acne reaction I got. Literally, one new pimple a day whereas I use to be someone that got it every other day when I didn't go to the derm, once a week when I go to the derm. The derm said it's the lightest dosage of acne antibiotics, so I was surprised at how bad I reacted.

I'm also someone that is only allowed a limited amount of antibiotics, because I'm allergic or something to majority of antibiotics (penicillin gave me hives when I was 8 or so).

I'd really suggest you see a dermatologist. Obviously listen to what they have to say, but I think most people don't need antibiotics, it only aids. If you want, I'll PM you my whole dermatologist experience to you.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

I read that low fat and skim milks had a great effect on acne then whole milk or 2%. I've also noticed that on multiple oral medications from my dermatologist that they have warning labels not to be taken with milk. I was taking one of the medications every day with milk and seeing no improvement. I'm now back on that med and take it with juice instead and it seems to be helping.

Ok, I don't get too many breakouts, I'd say biggest problem are the old marks, but anyways, it's really bugging me, and I was wondering what kinda foods are known to cause acne? I heard Dairy plays a role, true? That would really suck because I love and need my milk hah.
This foods can cause food allergies (including acne):

* dairy
* eggs
* corn
* soy
* wheat
* seafood

It all depends on the person. When I eat a lot of cottage cheese I get acne on my chest. However Emmental doesn't give me acne. Go figure.

it's different for everybody.

i think if you stay healthy and stay away from processed foods/fast foods you should be good.

for example for me, chocolate breaks me out for sure, but oils/dairy/(instert acne myth here) don't do **** to me

Processed sugar is what had the most noticable impact on me, just typical junk food. I don't think bread is worth worrying about, milk and dairy could be a factor if you have it every day. Sometimes cereals and stuff can have a lot of sugar so make sure to pinpoint the exact cause.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Micro-Dermabrasion Kit

I hear this can reduce scaring, but i am not sure.

There are products out there in major high street chemists, mainly in the womens section, so if you do try these you can state, if anyone ask's there a gift for your GF.

Though there are men's versions out there, but i would suspect most would not want to be stung for 50quid for those, which i hear are fundimentally the same.

Oh, Drink more water!!

so i tivo'ed this ellen re run and they had a lady on their that had secrets of the stars.
she said for red zits that are hard, put a drop of visine on them to take the red out and hide.
for zits that you want to get rid of, the kind that look like they will pop, you crush an aspirin and mix it with juice from a fresh lemon and apply it to the zit. it will remove the yucky stuff and make the zit vanish.

the visine gets the red out of a zit as fast as it would getting the red out of your eye.
she said the lemon and aspirin worked fast but failed to say how fast.

if you try it, please let me know if it works.

In hell. I'm Satan's lover.
Try out both cold showers and the steam/sauna room at the gym. Hot water will aggravate your bacne if you're acne prone. You also need something to flush out your pores so the steam room + shower would be ideal. Not to mention cold showers make your skin & hair glow too.

^^you've been sexing alot, haven't you.

I see my GF once a week, so we get it on all day. I usually have perfect skin but without failure every week on Monday(day after she leaves) I break out.

Another thing is that once my acne cleared I start skipping things I should have be doing for my skin like the vitamins or cremes.

I don't use B5 anymore and I only use the 3creems once a day now. I don't like using a lot of chemicals.
My skin is still great.

hey quick question (and if its already been asked then my bad but ive only got a couple minutes to spend online and i cant read all 200+ posts) if i substitute a prescription topical medication and a good moisturizer for the bp and jojoba oil will it still work? how critical is the topical side or are the results gained mostly from the vitamins etc.?

the topical is the most affective thing but you need the vitamins. Don't mess with this proven formula. nothing else worked for me.
