Yeah, but look up the prevalency of irregular heartbeats.Atrial fibrillation (AFib) increases the risk of stroke because the irregular heartbeat causes blood to pool in the heart's upper chambers, which can lead to the formation of blood clots that can travel to the brain and block blood flow, resulting in a stroke; this is particularly likely to occur in the left atrial appendage, a small pouch in the left atrium where blood can easily stagnate.
And notice that not all irregular heartbeats are afib.
My mom lived with afib for decades before it became an issue and she had an ablation.
