I've been a lurker on these forums (and others…) for a while, and its been quite fun reading through the relics.
One strange thing I've noticed though.
The oldest members seem to be trapped. They put out books, run websites, blogs, etc and they seem to have infected their lives with RP branded projects.
The Rollo's, The Roosh's, The Whoever's. Why can't they leave this whole scene and live their lives?
Isn't the most illuminating reminder from all of this that you must live well? To be a true DJ, you must move through life? Their projects seem to trap them in a RP bubble. To limit their lives.
Lots of posters have come and gone (Pook, Anti-Dump...), but the guy's maintaining books and websites? It almost as if they've institutionalized themselves.
They can't seem to move on?
