I am talking about a one on one fight. BTW people talk about mike vallely beating up those 4 guys. LISTEN THOSE 4 guys were YUPPIES who have never been in a street fight. That **** would not work against an mma fighter. Do you think he could have did that to 4 brothers from the hood. THe answer to that is fvck no. Watch the tape the 4 guys were fighting scared.
I knew a guy, who's dad was some kind of kung fu "master", and would train his son for 2 hours each night. I went against this guy, and his punches were like a trip hammer.
He got jumped by 5 thugs, and he hospitalised four of them, and ended up with only a black eye (for which his father busted him down to white belt). Point is, they were "hard", and he still battered them.

So yeah, you're basically talking about an organized match.

No I am talking about a one on one street fight. Have you ever been in one on one street fight? I have. It was not organized. Street fights happen spur of the moment. You could get in one on one street fight if someone cuts you off in traffic. I used to be that guy that would fight in my early 20's. I think about it sometimes and am surprised that I was never seriously injured.. Thank God. Now I would not fight unless someone really crossed to line.

That being said its never a good thing to fight. But a trained BJJ stylist will fare much better in a one on one streetfight.

Its not about kicking someones ass. Its the confidence you get from knowing you could kick someones azz if needed be.

I am 190 pounds but if a guy that benched 400 pounds and weighed 255 pounds in a one on one street fight I am confident that with my training I have a great shot of doing some damage and winning that fight.

AND YES SIZE MATTERS IN A STREET FIGHT. All things being equal.. 2 guys that have no training a guy that weighs 240 pounds will beat a guy 150 pounds 90% of the time.

.... Noone can go against a firearm. Kravmaga teaches that stuff but its BS. Going against knives and multiple attackers your pretty much done.
So you're talking about a street fight where the guy(s) that start it are going to come one at a time and none of them is packing or can pick up an improvised weapon, and you can say with a straight face this is a likely scenario?

You very funny man.

The only time I can see that as a likely case is if YOU were the aggressor and you were lucky enough to not come after a guy with a gun in his pocket. Maybe it's just different here, but here they run in packs and guns are pretty common.

Listen I am done explaining myself to you. I have been in one on one fights and so have alot of people I know. If you have never been in a fight or never was the type of guy that would fight than please keep the funny comments to yourself.

And your another guy that talks about people having guns and knives in there pockets. I live in Chicago were do you live? Here in CHicago I would say 97% of the people walking around do not have a gun or a knife on them. Unless there cops or gangbangers from the hood and I have nothing to do with that crowd.

Alot more people are carrying guns than you think. Even in states where CCW is not yet legal. Here in florida there are over 1.2 million CCW licenses issued. So it's more like, who ISN'T carrying a gun?

I live in the Pacific NW and every man in my family with the possible exception of my brother in law packs at least one handgun. Legally. Most urban areas seem to frown on concealed carry but here, just having the card is a huge plus if you have to deal with law enforcment.

Kung fu guy got the job done but you have to understand that the kung fu guy is probably 5"9 165 pounds. His opponent is probably 5"4 120 pounds. He would have won that street fight without the kungfu.
Completely not the point of anything I said. Idiot troll.

jeet kun do is the best. for a street fight not bjj, in bjj you have someone locked up in a clinch on the ground and the guys buddy comes, smacks you in the head with a bottle and proceeds to stomp your head in! on the ground is not where you wanna be. muay thai is good but JKD is far superior and versitile
