Overcoming social anxiety and shyness
This book is the one i READ after reading hold your head up high . Hold your head up high had put me on a major high about life but this book totally dropped it. That doesn't mean this book is bad, it just means that it was a very difficult read and I read it the wrong way.
The book takes you to a dark place by causing you to remember ways in which shy people mess up but I think it is valuable for being able to identify low value behaviours but if u learn how to be assertive and work on your inner game , the problem of shyness fixes itself. Also I made themistake of underlining important parts in the book and it took me ages to finish.
My verdict would be don't spend money on this unless you care to learn more about shyness but in my opinion the only books you need are by Paul Hauck and they are - How to stand up for yourself and how to do what you want to do. They will transform you into a MEAN machine. I know before I recommended some other books as being the best buys but since reading these I have reveiwed my decision.

This book has changed my life by teaching me assertiveness because when I handled my innergame with hold your head up high, I was still a nice guy because I was afraid of hurting others feelings by standing up for myself .The book helped me unlearn that.
