Goes along with a video I was watching earlier today, about the lack of masculinity in today's men. This is what happens when you do your best to eliminate the nuclear family. Too many males being raised by single mothers, no real role models for men growing up, masculinity being discouraged in our culture. But they'll encourage boys to put on a dress.

The average American male isn't unemployed, but underemployed might be somewhat accurate. There's a lot of porn addiction and alcohol/drug abuse. Ignored by women or divorce court raped. Beta male.

When war time comes around, all of a sudden masculinity is praised..... "Mr. Beta male, you're supposed to man-up and die for this country of people that didn't give a shjt about you. Especially the women. It's your manly duty!"

Come on bro, you needed Rollo to tell you that? I knew that in 1994.

I love how the rich, the politicians and the psychiatrists promote “feminism, women sleeping with as many Alpha males as possible, and giving women the option to “destroy the male financially and emotionally“ if they like to; yet at the same time say ”porn is bad for males.”

So for the male, it’s either: (a) stay single and be an outcast (b) get married to some post wall women who has slept with many Alpha males and give her the option to divorce and take half his money (c) watch adult entertainment because there is no way the average male could get such hot girls in real life.

What’s a man to do?

Brutal.

The biggest problem the majority of modern men have is they stand for nothing, can’t think for themselves and have very little morals and don’t honor anything besides their own desires.

just look at the post above me.

Masculine men are a threat to the status quo so when a country has no real clear enemies it naturally tends to drift toward a feminine order in terms of both social norms and economy.

Inclusion steps over merit, harmony steps over justice, equality steps over freedom...all the way to socialism in your lifestyle and in your wallet.

A generation of men grown from women is not any different than a herd of dogs grown from sheeps.

That same concept of forced equality which is totally hostile toward freedom and rewards, steal a man his purpose...you cant have a pirate if the loot is equally shared with all the inhabitants of the island as much as you cant have a scientist if he has to research within a strict set of limitations.

That makes sense in the short term. Those effects will level off over time, but keep going with no porn and no masturbation. You'll be in a better place if you keep it up.

If Options A-C are the only options in life, Option A is the best one. In option A, you must avoid porn and masturbation. As a male, once you hit your 30s, you will be a social outcast if you are unattached or marginally attached (shorter term relationships typically lasting 12 months or less). Most people you know will be married and in multi-year LTRs. You'll barely see your married male friends and the guys in 3-5+ year long LTRs won't be much better than your married male friends. On the infrequent occasions that you do see them, you'll have less and less in common with them. Your siblings and cousins will likely have pursued the marriage and family path, so you'll even be a bit of an outcast within your family and have some less than ideal family gatherings.

There is an Option D. @DEEZEDBRAH will be familiar with the following refrain. Enjoy the decline. Pillage what you can. Learn seduction and have sex with the high notch count woman. Stay in good shape to give her the vaginal tingles.

They are not the only options in life, but it’s funny that, like you said, if a man isn’t attached, he’s an outcast, something is wrong with him. He is not invited anywhere and has a problem, Society doesn’t care about the man’s mental health, all that matters is that man follow customs.

On another note, society only moves forward because of the people who don’t follow the customs; you could say the ones who are outcasts. All these inventions; airplane, car, computer, iPhone, tv, they were done by people who didnt follow status quo and thought for themselves. Now when the invention works, the man is a hero, his name is stamped in histor. When the invention doesn’t, the guy is a loser, a fraud, should get lost. Society follows the new invention and everyone follows the customs until the next new invention comes out; and the same thing happens, the guy is either a genius or an idiot.

Imagine if the men who committed to one women forever where outcasts and the single men who had their freedom and peace of mind where looked upon favourably?

There is an Option D. @DEEZEDBRAH will be familiar with the following refrain. Enjoy the decline. Pillage what you can. Learn seduction and have sex with the high notch count woman. Stay in good shape to give her the vaginal tingles.
Not a bad idea.

If your married ex-friends that boxed you out become divorced and single again. Then decide to hit you up, are you going to give them the time of day? I don't know if I could or not...

Kind of agree with above on some level, the current complete wimps which make up 20 somethings men makes life easier for late 30s early 40s guys like me.

However, I feel that’s quite a beta attitude on some levels. It’s on us to try to change it.
if you’re happy letting society go to the dogs so you can notch, then that’s not providing leadership. That’s no different to watching porn and playing video games.

One of the biggest reveals I’ve had on my journey is that becoming a better man and a leader means your primary concern is the welfare of others in your circle. Selfless actions count. Honesty is required and conflict never to be shirked, but if you want to lead, you have to start mentoring and helping those who are less far along the curve. That’s what many people do here.

It depends what you want I suppose. If it’s lays, then go for it. There’s nothing inherently wrong with pleasing yourself. Personally, I’m far more interested in leading others to objectives and success. If I manage that without any more sex, so be it. It’s more important to me.

im married anyway but sometimes a bit of female interest is nice, but I’m genuinely fulfilled at home so the bigger picture becomes more important than my d1ck.

So, while we can enjoy the abundance that having a bunch of unmotivated losers around provides, it’s worth noting we are all going to leave a legacy and it’s worthwhile trying to change things.

That's a petty way to look at it. It's happened to me a few times, you embrace them, they are good people that's why they were friends initially. My best friend's little brother (I'm Godfather to his kids) recently got dupmped by his fianceé of 7 years, kicked him out of "her house" that he's been contributing to for 7 years (they only just moved from her apartment to her new house) and he sees the kids on Friday to Saturday.

I didn't quite get "boxed out" but I do understand men in relationships with kids and mortgages do not have time to go drinking and partying with me. I made new friends. You need more than the 4-5 inner circle day ones, you need all kinds of people in your network and you need to maintain the fringe relationships that offer you benefits (networking, business, accounting/financial advice/wing man etc).

Mostly every never married/no children man who is 35+ has seen this situation at least once. A lot of couples start divorcing around 35-40.

As a late 30s man, I have had friends/family already do this to me to some extent. None of the people who have married, ignored me while married, and then talk to me again after the divorce is filed live in the same city where I live. When they have increased interaction, it has been calls and texts.

One of my college friends (not one of my closest friends while in college) caused an unintended pregnancy within 2 years of his college graduation and ended up marrying the woman. Predictably, they got divorced but not before adding more children to the mix. I went years without having any interaction with him. We did talk again once he got divorce and do text message each other.

Both of my divorced cousins started interacting with me more when their now ex-wives filed for divorce after having minimal interactions with me during their first marriages. The older of the two went exclusive with a woman in between divorce filing and divorce finalization. He re-married fast. The increase in interaction was quite short lived. The younger of the two has yet to remarry. The interaction increases were not that meaningful in general.

@DonJuanjr -- You are correct that it is emotionally difficult to deal with these married men who disappear during their marriages. It's hurtful. I realize that it is typical beta male/beta-ization behavior to disappear from your unattached/marginally attached friends while married. Even unmarried guys in multi-year LTRs do this as well, often to re-emerge after the relationship fails. Romantic relationships ultimately fail. Male friendships have a better chance of outlasting most romantic relationships that have started in the 1990-present era.

The last time we had a Lost Generation was the post WW1 1920's. We all know what happened next.
The Millennials (1981/82 - 1996) have been a lost generation since the stock market crashed in 2007-09. The Millennials bore the brunt of the late 2000s/early 2010s and were disproportionately affected in 2020. No generation in American history has been crapped on as much economically as Millennials, especially the 1981/82-1988 ones.

This is pointless because the 90-10 rule makes this statement irrelevant.
A good portion of men below the 80th percentile are essentially invisible. At best, they are bait for 30 something provider hunter females if they happen to have decent jobs.
