I remember that guy. One of the bigger douches/ a holes to come on this site. yeah he bulked up, so what. It doesn't make you perfect, or invincible...but it can make you think that you are. You want to avoid the Djdan transformation because his ego was huge, he took a little too much satisfaction in belittling and degrading his plates, and arguing with anyone who didn't agree with his " treat women like animals" mentality.
Hit the weights hard for a few years. It sounds simple, but is very difficult to maintain the dedication, output, and eating through all those weeks and months. But that is the only way.
I weighed 141 pounds the first time I stepped on a scale at wrestling practice. After doing strength, size, endurance, you name it training over 7 years, I am 180 and sub 10 bf... And I had shoulder surgery 5 months ago and haven't been able to lift more than 40 pounds for quite a while.
When you put in the work for years, your body will always have the muscle memory and it will be much easier to " get back in the game" with regards to working out than someone who has not put in quality time in the gym.
Go to H&F forum and talk to some of the guys there, they will help you set up a diet and lifting program for starters.
Forget Dan, he had a decent workout, knew a lot about anabolics(not making any accusations but it is suspicious) but was a complete d-bag who could only pull old women and ugly young ones that would put up with his narcissim.
