Jaylan, you probably misinterpreted where I was going with it.

I only said that cuz I heard about it from an anthropology class I took last year. Some cultures, somewhere at some time did... I guess. Whatever floats their boat.

In regards to a females standards, if she had a laundry list and professed having some misandry within her, I would jump on that crap too.
But that's virtually every American woman. Women just don't admit or label their crap as misandry but not admitting what it is only makes it worse if anything. All females have laundry lists and misandrist beliefs. Yet to hear you tell it only a small minority of women if any are like that. Only females and manginas paint females as positively as you do here.

To the OP, I agree with a lot and disagree with a lot, seems a little too personal, as in too specific to your likes and needs.

only part that I agree with on this topic is basically being fine as you are. I have a friend who doesn't have the best income, but he works his game is solid, and he gets girls with ease. Essentially, he is happy with who he is bottles emotions and moves on to the next.

you have to accept yourself first in order to get women, and If it takes you to get that Master's Degree, get that million dollar body to do it then fine. We do not have to be the perfect male in order to get women..

What we do have to do is become relatable be happy with who we are....

Another thing that strikes me about this "not going to the gym" thing is, it sounds like the OP isn't living in the USA, right? I think to a large extent this belief here that everyone should be a musclebound douchebag is a cultural thing. For instance, in India, I'm sure the ideas about what constitutes an attractive, healthy body are quite different.

I've lifted weights since I was a young man, but I can see that you definitely don't have to go to a gym to stay in shape. Especially in another country where body expectations are different.

And only bitter cry moar, woe is me, never get any quality vag, guys like you paint women so negatively.

If you saw my post in response to scars yesterday, I have better things to do then constantly be negative about anything. Its a self fulfilling prophecy. But have at it bro.

I take the good with the bad and try to see both sides of the coin. There are many d bag dudes as they are good guys out there. And there are as many selfish horrible gals as there as sweet nice girls. You just gotta find em and snatch em up. I see those kind of people all the time. And knowing that I myself am a good dude lets me know even more so that good people exist.

Why waste my time constantly b!tching about how crappy women are while simultaneously trying to bed them? Waste of my energy to be so negative.

Can you say strawman? I'm just calling low quality what it is. And pointing out how for supposedly being a man you strangely seem to have very strong mentality of defending females and criticising males. I'm not buying the story that you're a hetero man getting all these quality females and everything is peaches and cream.

*yawn* keep it moving bro.

As I said to scars. Not everything is super negative. There is good and bad out there in men and women. Many of us here have done very nice and very crappy things in life. Its not that I defend females and criticize males. I see both sides, and check my post history in full. Its just dudes like you overlook my positive messages to men and foam at the mouth at any chance to argue with me when I give dudes tough love.

I dont care if you buy my story. Fact of the matter is, Self Fulfilling Prophecy. People can sense negative aura and attitudes. I stay positive unlike some dudes here which translate to having a personality both men and women are drawn to. Hence I make quality friends and wings and make quality connections with quality women.

I go through my share of BS too, but I keep an abundance mentality. And keep a mentality that reminds me there are still tons of nice gals to meet. Not to mention I sometimes ignore nice girls for the *****es and I accept that. Just gotta weed through the thick mud to find that right chick is all.

Im done arguing with you dude.

And I'd argue that the guys you label "negative" are doing what you only claim you're doing. I've read your posts and you are a female-defender and a male-blamer. I made my point earlier in this thread and you keep twisting and sugar coating what you claim you post on here. It sure seems like I'm talking to a female here. I'm not buying it. You do not come across as a positive person that everyone likes that you claim.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

With the right exercise selection and a good solid diet with three meals a day anyone can have a good physique with 45 minutes of working out a day. You shouldn't go overboard, but it has many advantages and it can be quite fun, so why not just do it?
That's simply not true.

For example, not everyone's body is alike. Some guys have a high metabolism and small bones, and find it difficult to gain visible muscle mass. They're known as "hard gainers".

A standard 45 minutes of gym, a few hefty meals and some protein shakes per day won't cut it.

I know because I TRIED the above for months, and got absolutely NOWHERE.

And honestly I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars extra a month on supplements, gym membership and expensive high quality food if it's not going to get results. Definitely not just for the fun of it.

If I'm going to spend $200 a month, I might as well spend it on a prostitute. That's a tangible result that you don't have to spend hours in a gym for.

You only need to chug a protein shake before or after your work out and 5 meals per day isn't so bad and you can replace one or two of these with a slow release protein shake. As for being short, it's surely better to be short and ripped than short and skinny or fat.
The amount of protein I've been told is necessary is in the range of 150-200 grams PER DAY.

Even the biggest, most protein rich meals rarely exceed 50 grams of protein.

You have to eat HUGE amounts of food and taking lots of supplementation.

You can't even have the same TYPE of protein. It has to be a mixture between various meats, protein shakes and eggs.

It costs money to eat like this, and it's time consuming trying to shop around to get all the right ingredients at the right time, so you can be eating 150 grams of protein per day.

Then you have to worry about the right kind of carbs, fruit and vegetables, supplements of this and that to enhance protein digestion, blah blah.

You can easily spend several hundred dollars a month on this, and large amounts of time.

I'd rather spend that money on a prostitute and get up-front sex.

There's this big misconception that if you want to be in shape you have to eat and train like a pro-bodybuilder. That's not true at all.
Well I tried your way.

I tried eating more protein, and I worked out 3 times a week, and gave my muscles sufficient time to rest and recuperate.

And guess what happened? Nothing.

In my opinion, body building is for the genetically gifted, the same as height, sports ability, a good singing voice, etc.

If your "primary" reason for lifting is to get laid, then your going for the wrong ones, girls should be "secondary" @ best
Go on lying to yourself.

But you don't spend extra money and hours of time training and following a carefully planned diet "for fun".

The goal is to improve your physical appearance so that you'll be more attractive to women.

Why else would these gym fanatics be so obsessed with "bulking up"?

If they enjoyed the gym experience on its own and didn't care about what other people thought of their physique, why would they chug protein shakes and spend money on special high protein diets?

I agree Atomic....I've seen way too many smoking hot women with guys who were not the pinnacle of physical achievement. Not saying that they were morbidly obese or rail-thin, but these guys had, for the most part, normal average bodies.

It never hurts to stay in good shape but its not the panacea and cure-all that this website makes it out to be.

If you're trying to be an actual bodybuilder, then yea there is a ton to do with genetics. If you are trying to gain 15 lbs and gain muscle definition, and you can't, you are probably doing something wrong.

Lifting helps with sports/mental health/energy as well as physical appearance. If you really are only doing it to look better for women, then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Lifting doesn't have to be the only outlet to get in shape either. Go running, play a sport, whatever.

I agree, but it something that will make a tangible difference in your life in short period of time, and is something that most guys who visit this site can improve immediately. Although most probably won't stick with it in the long run. We all know there is no such thing as a cure all.

Health is my primary reason Mr-know-it-all, sure women are secondary but go to the doctor and have him tell you that your blood pressure is to high and if you don't lose XX amount of weight you will have diabetes!

That to me is my primary reason keep assuming though that everyone's number reason for getting in shape is poon

On top of that I enjoy a good run, I enjoy the "runners high" I get, the endorphin release, it's better then any drug or drink. It's just surreal
