So its been several weeks after a cycle of steroids and I thought I would share my opinion if anybody is curious.

I used 500mg testosterone enanthate for 10 weeks with two shots of 250 every Sunday and Wednesday


IMHO....

The results were great. Im glad I went from 150 to 180 and stayed pretty cut.
There were almost zero other effects
no ball shrinkage
no hair loss
maybee a slight increase in sex drive
no roid rage
maybee some acne but hard to say if it was just some fluke breakouts
however I did get sore nipples for about a day, but obviously had the equipment to take care of that

all in all I gained 30lbs without any problems at all
highly recommended if properly used with diet exercise and common sense!

How old are you? IMO, 150 lbs. you SHOULDNT be using gear..Most of that weight gain is fat and water. You'll probably lose a good 20-25 lbs.

What are you doing for PCT?...

go to a doctor get your sperm count checked

you might be in for a little surprise

and by little i mean your balls stopped producing sperm :eek:

you've only used it for 10 weeks and talking about long term side-effects... doesn't make sense..

Yeah man that was a bit of a waste. If you were 180 going to 210, I'd say well done, but 150 to 180 you could always, you know, just eat and save yourself the money.

Well done nonetheless.

and don't worry, mostly all of the steroid side effects are reversible when you come off them.
Low sperm count, if you're not unlucky and been left sterile, will also return.

after you quit the steroids is it not hard to keep the muscle you have earned though?

AAS use in my opinion is a personal choice. The only thing I'm gonna heckle you on is using gear at your young age. Your test levels are naturally high, so what's the point of using AAS? Good choice on test by the way.

Regardless, can you please give us an idea of how much your big lifts: back/front squat, clean, deads, chin/pull ups, bench, etc.

It would also be nice if you posted your diet and workout split briefly. Congrats on the gains, and good luck with your PCT.

yeah, because without them it is easy to gain 30lbs in 10 weeks without much fat increase! ha...if only they didn't make you spotty or didn't do anything else harmful to your body.....

Thx for the replies and for those who understand its a personal choice

I never wanted to get ripped, buff or huge

I just wanted to be an average weight for 6'1"

Anyways... I gained 40lbs at first but lost about 10 since the cycle and have kept 30...all in all not bad gains but yah you wouldn't expect it to be that hard at 150lbs starting

Im not sure if it was the roids or the not, but afte the cycle was over I cut down my diet drasticalyy from 4000 cals a day to around 2,500 and am holding the weight

At 150 I couldn't gain a pound eating 2,500 so for once it is nice not to be shoving food down my throat


My lifts invloving my legs are weak because I had to have several foot surgeries and am still prone to injury so I wont even bother cause people will give me **** about how weak my legs are...I will say that I easily added 50lbs to my squat and my bench press I start with 5 reps of 250...I can do 18 wide grip behind the head chins

btw im 22 and

I had nolva clomid and one other pct item but I cant remember the name right now( im at work)
I used the standard pct from a steroid forum sticky so its probably alright

Like I said my diet was 4,000 cals and I made sure to get at least 150 grams protien daily

I focused on a mix of heavy low rep and light high rep full body exercises and I think the fact that I didn't focus on many single muscle lifts helped me strengthen everything in general much better

On cycle I trained
1 shoulders back neck
2 chest tris bis
3 Legs
4 off
5 off
repeat


Now I am training only on weekends and still getting stronger

I havent really noticed any effects and im not too worried...I doubt I will cycle again because this cycle was carefully planned and I acheived my goal

who gives a sh1t if i cheated to get here, im a realist not an idealist

Well eating 2500 calories in not going to get you big unless you have amazing genetics. I hardly call eating that many calories shoving food down. Sounds like the steriods worked....big surprise :rolleyes:

Never-the-less good job being committed to something...it's extremely dangerous doing what your doing if you **** up though. An Air bubble in your vein could potentially kill you. Not worth the risk imo.

I think you are a big dumbass for doing that stuff man. Just thought I would say that. Oh and I started off at 150, and I am now around 160. This is only after working out for a month. I will get to 175-180 WITHOUT steroids. cheater.

@ 150, 3k cals is probably minimum.

some of you should stop giving him ****, it's his decision. albeit 150-180 is hardly a good reason to juice :p

why would anyone criticize him if he's happy with the results?

Sure it was a waste of money but getting truly strong isn't his goal and he doesn't want to get big.

Roids are demonized in pop culture, as is Test., yet no one complains about alcohol which kills/wrecks far more people than roids ever will. The potential for harm and risk is there, as with anything worth doing.

Personally I won't even consider taking Test. until I'm well over 35-40.

I don't think anyone has a right to criticize him until they've done it themselves.

That being said, you could have done the same with eggs/red meat on a high cal diet.

And what does being a realist/idealist have to do with taking drugs?

If he did it sensibly with a good research, then I can't say I would be mad at him.

As much as people preach about waiting (I'm one of them) if someone decides to go against the grain and run a cycle, he should at least do it with a good backing of knowledge and research.

It's his body, his life, and it is not a race between all of us. Lifting is a competition with yourself, with yourself making the rules as to what is allowed. If he allowed himself to use steroids responsibly, then so be it, and it does not make him a cheater.

However saying you had trouble eating 2,500 calories and then saying you had a 4k diet does raise some flags.

I know there are a lotta steroid haters but I honestly thought this forum would be able to look past the hype and some of you are very objective so thx

but since most of you seem in a rush to poke holes in my info lemme explain

I used to bulk at 3k-3.5k cals and would get up to 160-165 no problem but after I slowed down the eating to 2.5k my strength and weight would steadily/slowly decrease...it was really annoying

This was especially true when I was working...so during my cycle I was unemployed just to make sure I didn't slack off

I know I gained some fat and im fine with that...if I could have added 30lbs of fat without using the roids I would have

the realist vs idealist thing is about getting the result, not about hemming yourself in with pointless rules/fears
anybody who has done some research into the subject should understand, as quicksilver so eloquently put it,the potential for harm and risk is there, as with anything worth doing.


People who naysay are afraid to use them or waiting until they reach a certain goal and then supplement..im neither

This thread is here so I can offer some helpful advice or direction to someone who is interested, not so you can justify how much weightlifting is about self achievement or so you can tell me how much I hurt myself and don't even know it yet blah blah blah

I commend him for doing research and all, but he only stated about the negatice side effects that he "thought" he had...

Did you get the overall sense of well being on cycle?

Did you (Hope to God) smash a lot of ***** on cycle?
