Agreed but useless without the mindset.Don't buy the sociopath thing. Looks or MONEY trumps all.
I guess "success" is relative. The most successful people I know are not very balanced people. They are very focused and tend to be selfish. The technical minded ones lack social skills and have Asperger traits/OCD. The ones in politics show a lot of cluster B traits.I don't believe that it is necessary to have a personality disorder in order to enjoy something or to be successful at anything.
I was at a Guitar Center last weekend checking out guitars on the wall. I heard somebody talking next to me. The weird part? I noticed he was talking to himself while playing the guitar plugged into an amp. It sounded like he was having an argument with himself. I smiled with a with a slight nod and walked away. Strange cookie.Musicians and artists - suicide, co-dependent on alcohol/drugs, depression runs rampant.
Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Agreed. It's a mindset I can't escape from anyway.I don't believe that it is necessary to have a personality disorder in order to enjoy something or to be successful at anything.
Exactly my point. I would even go out on a limb to say disregard rules and authority if the actions you take further your goals."Personality disorder" in itself implies there is a correct way to think. People should learn to embrace the way their brains naturally flow and manipulate it in such a way that it is advantageous to them. Most "disorders" have a positive aspect to them.
For example, anxiety stems from anticipating future events, a natural tendency to look ahead. This can be turned into an advantage with emotional training.
The term sociopath probably confuses what I think are the important points here: stop caring what other people think so you can take action and walk your path.
In the circuits I run in, most musicians are alcoholics.I was at a Guitar Center last weekend checking out guitars on the wall. I heard somebody talking next to me. The weird part?
