Nothing has been proven. Only a shoddy graph and a cryptic website.

I've been exposed to hundreds of hours of learning which I could easily prove. Such as factual knowledge like important discovery dates, Mayan rituals, sites, architecture, artifacts, and their significance, as well as major authors and a summary of their works). You may not believe this, but I'm probably a more skeptical person than you are.

I am highly skeptical of your claims. Especially the last one.

Thirdly you linked to a conspiracy site with another bull**** mayan doomsday. So it's October 28th 2011 now. What happens when that rolls around and nothing happens, you'll move the goalpost I assume maybe to October 28th, 2012.

BTW. That website is not about the end of the world. The Mayan calendar is not about the end of the world either, its about a finite evolution of consciousness. I can easily prove this to you all if you guys can set your egos aside for a moment and be a little more tolerant of "ignorance".

We all know that in order to be that guy that both men and women can vibe with, we must be men of the world, or as TD would put it “men who walk through the world with ease”. So, can you become a man who walks thru the world with ease if you can not accept that there are people out there who don’t have the same point of view as you? Think about that, can a man who lets his emotions be affected by beliefs that are incongruent with his, ever be the man who most people are attracted to?

The greatest evolution a human can ever achieve is the realization that he is not his ego, that his true nature is being at peace with the world, since he’s part of it. The uncontrolled ego only gets in the way of him realizing his true nature. Letting your emotions be controlled by what happens in the world, such as by what others say or think, is letting yourself be controlled by your ego, and consequently by the world. But when you realize that it is your set of beliefs that is being threatened (your ego) and not you as physical being, you become at peace with life and the world. You become a man who walks through the world with ease, because he controls his ego and not the other way around. In that state of being, the environment will never dictate how you should feel or act. You become fearless.

This is actually what the Mayan calendar is about, the last step in the evolution of consciousness, not about the end of the world. That is just a misinterpretation of what an evolution of consciousness is. Part, if not all, of this misinterpretation comes from the fact that in many ways the death of the ego’s grip means the end of the world for some people. How would you feel if somebody told you that your thoughts are not real and just a creation of the mind? This is something so obvious yet many people are so identified with their thoughts, that telling them their thoughts are not reality is comparable to losing everything they have.

Does anybody want me to prove that this is really what the Mayan calendar is about? If not I’ll just go away quietly and stop adding to this thread.
