Slapped a girl....do you think it was the right thing to do?

Hey as all of you know, hitting a girl isn't a Don Juan thing to do or is it accepted by society but here me out. I can't decide whether it was needed in my part or it was a mistake....

I was at school walking to my class as usual, I met a girl who showed interest in me (but as soon as I rejected her request for a date she started to be nasty around me.)

For some odd reason she would stand right in front of me when I walked and at first I took this pretty light and laughed. Soon enough I was infront of my class and the girl turns around and gives me this nasty look. I told her to get to her class and to confront me later if she has something against me *which was done with a positive keen attitude* I began to walk into my class until she grabbed my bag which contained some books and threw down my stuff, I didn't want any trouble so I picked them up myself. As I was getting up she kicked my leg and when I was half way up she tried to push my face and because of my reflexes I slapped her really hard in her face thus, she took a blow to the ground. After that moment she gets up with tears in her eyes and goes I'm going to kick your ass. But This time the girls I met earlier during the year back me up and cussed her out.


It really feels weird right now because I've never hit a girl before and I keep second guessing myself that I did something wrong... your thoughts???

IMO you could've just walked away or grabbed her hand. My first reflex would've been to defensively stop her instead of offensively stop her. Yowzas man, when I was in HS I'd have been expelled and arrested for doing that.

I don't think anyone is above an ass kicking. No matter what happened, you will always be the "guy who slapped that girl." So you have to live with that reputation. i think it best to avoid conflict but sh!t happens. I think that she thougth she could abuse you and you wouldn't retaliate. Be careful in the future, I don't think the conflict is over yet. I just hope it doesn't get worse. She will probably convince some "Captain Save a H0e," AFC into sticking up for her so watch out.

By hitting her you put yourself in trouble with anyone she knows, and you showed your anger controls you and it proves to her you let her get to you.

There's also a difference between a slap and a punch. A slap leaves a red mark, and a punch leaves a bruise... you mostly just hurt her ego... she probably deserves it.
