six pack abs how do you get them?

Wats up everybody.just wanted to say i am new to this site,Its pretty cool. I am a mission to be good with the ladies,and the first thing i said to myself is i need to get in shape and have a goal to get fit and get my six pack. I hit the gym about 3 times a week. I do 30 min of running and i work on my chest,legs and back, for an hour and then go home and i havent seen no decrease in fat around my stomach, ive been doing this for 2 months. I just need your advice on getting a six pack.By the way i am 5'9, 170 pounds.

5'9 170lbs means you probably have a decent enough layer of muscle under that fat so here is your answer:

*Join a muay thai gym in your area and attend every session (min 4 times week)
*Cut out junk foods and limit alcoholic drinks.

If you do those two you will have a 6 pack in 6 months or less.

hey whats a muay thai and when people say junk food do you mean burgers,pizza, candy and sodas.

you got it, eating healthily is a hell of a lot more complicated than that but just by removing all takeaway food + chips + anything processed (most things at a 7 11) + sodas + Macdonalds kind of places you will really help yourself out.

Muay thai is a kickboxing with elbows and knees which focus's on high intensity cardio pad work and a lot of ab work. Google it with your town name and you will probably have a gym there. If not try boxing, mma, kickboxing, or bjj.

It takes a lot of consistency and time before you can build a great body. When losing fat, don't look at the stomach, but look at your face, shoulders, legs, arms and other places on your body...those are the places you lose fat first, not the stomach.

How is your diet looking? Do you have a plan?...Or are you just winging it?

soljier247: Dont go for the sixpack now... ull only get thin with sixpack no point in that... what u gotta do is workout youre whole body eat eggs , tuna like mad man:) basiclly eat MUCH workout with weights at youre gym... trust me after a while with that u like youre body much more... and its easy to get a sixpack then. and u want just get thin with sixpack but muscular with sixpack;)

I really dont have a diet plan, all i know is i need to eat right, and belief in eating right would be eat my vegies,meats,fish,protein shakes and drinking a
lot of water,and staying away from fast food and minor snacks,thats the only
diet plan i know of.But if someone on this site can help my out with one,that will be cool,by the way Davezz thanks for the tip.:up:

Just do it easy;) eat MUCH chicken,tuna,eggs, meat, and vegetables. would be a good idea buy whey protein shake to:) ull be buff in no time:D

I disagree with some of the posts and the provided links.

You can take other people's advice but keep in mind that the advice they give is something they "theorize" that works or something they currently do but it may not work for you. Definitely try it and then try another exercise formula.

Follow that diet plan and shaunk's links above. I can not tell how fast you will have the six-pack, nor when. hopefully by using the carb cutoff that's already built into that diet, you can maintain or shed some fat while building muscle. Plain and simple you need a low body fat percentage.

Abs arent made in the gym, they're made in the kitchen.
