Here's my opinion.

When answering this question, like most questions that ask for a decision to be made on a social construct, most people come to their chosen conclusion based on morals, which is essentially based on how they feel. This, in my opinion, is a terrible way to debate anything and yes, women do tend to do this far more than men, though most men do it too.

I would argue that the answer to the question should be based on what is best for society, which tends to be the best for the rest of us. Of course my answer, as well as most other people who are healthily selfish, will be slightly tainted by the fact that we want a society that gives us the most benefit we can get from it but I will be subjective in the sense that I will answer based on how I think every society should be run rather than just my own.

So finally, here's my answer. Men and women have different voting patterns. So whichever genders voting patterns I believe to be detrimental to the success of our society, should be banned from voting. And yes, whatever answer we were to give would be based on our opinion of what success for our society is. Now I don't know all the voting patterns but I would assume that for the most part I would side with the male's as I'm likely to have more similar desires to them than I am women. However, should my desires be more aligned with the female demographic then I would advocate a ban on male voting.

So in conclusion, I won't actually say yes or no as I'm not informed enough but I would advocate for a voting ban for whichever genders voting patterns I believe to be more detrimental to the societies success. It's not a matter of right or wrong, fair on unfair. The decision should be made based on the outcome it will give you.

Yes, I think they should be allowed to vote. They are humans, after all. I also believe everyone should be treated fairly. That is just the way this country is set up. It's not a bad idea for the male/female dynamic to 'check' each other. Also not a bad idea for the rich/poor classes to check each other.

Now, my biggest beef is what people should vote. I'd like to see a system where people on government assistance could not vote. And also get rid of the electoral college.

OK so essentially you think they should be allowed to vote as it's fair. Google's definition on the word fair:
Treating people equally without favouritism or discrimination.

Is it favouritism? No because if they weren't allowed to vote based on the reasons I've given then it has nothing to do with who you favour it's about the outcome. And it's not discrimination, because I think the majority of men would vote for a society in which women are treated in a way that allows them to be happy. Therefore, it's actually a compassionate decision to not allow them to vote.

So if favouritism and discrimination aren't factors then for it to be fair to not allow women to vote, you would only have to be treating the sexes equally. And again based on the reasons I've given you which I believe to be the correct way to answer the question, each gender is given due consideration and if women were to be banned it's on merit not just for the fact that their women. Which means they would be treated equally and without favouritism or discrimination and therefore treated fairly. So do you think it's still unfair?

Imo anyone with rights to vote should first be required to take a very basic test.. to make sure they are at least as smart as a 5th grader and know some very basic 101 level things about how our government systems work. Many women would not pass this without a phone or computer in front of them. some men too.

I've always thought that they should teach politics as a mandatory subject in school. It's something that affects us in every way, every minute of the day and yet most people don't have a basic understanding of the system and how politicians operate and so they leave themselves wide open to manipulation. I won't act all high and mighty though, I don't know half as much about politics as I think I should do but I'm not an idiot on the subject either.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

Let them vote...

But they should be restricted in the work place. Women in human resources....too
fvcking emotional.
They're causing havoc in the workplace because of their overemotional
state. A woman in any kind of leadership position is a recipe for disaster. Disaster I tells you.

And you think that women (and maybe other classes of people) should not vote because you "believe their voting patterns to be detrimental to society".

When you become dictator for life of parkthebusistan, you can do whatever you like. You thinking that because you don't like the way people vote is grounds to deny them the vote is hysterically funny.

You seem to think that being able to vote is a right.

I'm from England so the constitution is irrelevant to me. And I think the constitution is silly because its so difficult to change it even if its the right thing to do. Like banning firearms.

Sounds like you are just trying to start an argument and/or flame war.

Either way, I get your point, the question is, what's the best way to set up a 'government'. The United States' system is the best we've got so far, and it's been a sliding scale, as it evolved from only the aristocracy voting, to now basically all citizens (and some who aren't). I think we've obviously gone too far in that direction. So, IMO, we back up to when the U.S. was at it's best. Women got the right to vote in 1920, but there again black people did not get it until 1965. What does this tell you? I have no idea, draw your own conclusions. You need to figure out what the best era of the U.S. was. Some may say the 20s, others the 40s, others the 90s. I have no idea, is there a way to measure the GDP vs. inflation? I'll let someone else do that research.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Not trying to start a flame war. I don't like Tictac and don't find his posts to contribute for the most part. I'm sure he doesn't like me by now so I don't think he will be surprised by that comment.

I would base the opportunity to vote on a score, a mandatory test which evaluate many subjects like taxes, economy, sociology, trade and history at least.

Someone who cant tell the difference between liberism and socialism or doesnt particularly know what feminism is and how feminists behave shouldnt be allowed to vote.

Needless to say that criminals and people which didnt work or ever paid a single tax in their life shouldnt be allowed to vote either, its not the amount of money paid but the principle, someone who doesnt fullfil his duties shouldnt have the same rights of someone who does.

I've had a feeling that SoSuave is becoming misogynistic as of late but wow...

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
