It would be a good experiment to be done if there was a way to have some realistic appearing height given to shorter guys. Like leg extenders that added six inches in height or something attached to the feet besides stilts that made the guy taller.

Just watching the difference between the guys normal height and how he is treated and then if he were made taller how he would then compare to his competition at that point.

I think there would be some eye opening inconvenient truths in regards to how women lie about things.

Hmmm I feel like a midst all the ****-talk and gold nuggets there's some sort of consensus that could be found... like some sort of crazy attraction-correlation between height and some sort of success-confidence algorithm yet to be discovered by our hard-working scientists plotted on to some highly technical chart of some kind.... POOF!

There. Now at one point in your reclaimed life, height doesn't matter, unless you're freakish (which is outside of the bounds of our science), but along the sordid, wretched working things out part of life, it does.

PS we could say the success-confidence correlation includes successfully making your body attractive, as that requires some amount of goal-oriented success.

If I recall, you are also a broad-shouldered guy. That is also huge with women.

The 5'8"-ish guys I know that do well with women are also (pretty much without exception) broad-shouldered. Not necessarily because of the gym, but just naturally having a wider frame in that area.

Broad shoulders + hot face can trump height in some cases.
That... is actually a good observation. Many women have looked in that area, almost immediately after the face. Also, not to sound gay, but they always said I have a nice ass. So I guess all 3 matter. Women are still shallow, though.

I think the shoulders came from lifting at work (warehouse stuff), and maybe playing basketball... A lot... 8 hours in a row sometimes. Never actually worked out, or went to the gym, or did any kind of real physical activity. Just work, bball, and walking. Pretty consistently, for several months.

Too bad I became a fat *****, and literally went unnoticed (see: women are shallow) for a while. Getting back into the swing of things again (ie, to stop being a fat, lazy *****).

2 things:

1) JC sorry to call you out, but did you seriously just type "ergo" as "air go"?

2) The recommended height for 5'8" is 140 pounds?!? I'm 5'7" and currently at 145, hoping to get bigger...I definitely am not fat...
Ha ha... I was tempted to point that out, but thought no big deal. At least someone else noticed. :kick:

155 - 160 lbs with a decent build (ie, fit) is pretty perfect, IME. Definitely not 140. That's too low... too skinny.

I think you could go as high as 80kg at that height, I have seen guys look pretty descent, provided the weight is evenly distributed. I'm around 5''7-5''8 and weight 160-165lb or 72-75kg, while I would describe myself as buff I would say I wasn't heavily jacked, one thing which really contributes to a buff look is a tan, spraytan or using melanotan works a treat, at showing off definition, also the type of clothing you wear. If I wear tight fitting shirts and clothing helps accentuate what to have got.

most women are a LOT more impressed if you can pick them up by using just one arm, than if you are 3-4" taller than the average. :) of course, you can't go around picking up every chick in sight, but if you pick up ONE that way, better believe that all the women in that area NOTICE. ;-)

Anyone who says height has "no bearing" on attracting women is deluding himself. Probably intentionally.

EVERYTHING has a bearing on attracting women. Height, width, thickness (LOL), money, IQ, job status, car you drive, toe attractiveness, pore size, how bad your farts smell, whether you snore... everything.

So you try to maximize what society thinks is good, and minimize what is bad. This is done by every social animal throughout the planet.

But to obsess over one or a few of all those items is silly. You do your best and then relax and enjoy your life best you can.

I think it depends on the woman. I am 5'3 and I have dated guys who were my height or just a couple inches taller. It wasn't a big deal to me. I just had to wear cute flats instead of cute heels whenever we went out. Lol. :p

There is even a whole fuvking documentary about the disadvantages of being short in life in general and with women.
Pretty much every successful top dog guy I've ever met in 16 years of working in various international coporate environments has been short or average height. Absolute facts, anecdotal facts granted, but facts all the same.

Maybe they all had something to prove because the internet told them short guys fail at life? ;)

This whole height issue can be put to bed rather quickly. A survey conducted at a top U.S. university revealed that men over 6''2 earned more money and every inche over equated to more income. Many guys at different times on PUA forums have brought this issue up, much of the time it is someone on an ego trip hating shorter guys. The average male height globally is considerably less than the average height in the U.S. which so many people seem so hung up on. The average height globally for men is around 5''6-5''7, as western culture is becoming more multicultural, so too will this rediculous obsession with male height. http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/height-chart.shtmlThis table gives average male height by country, note some of the countries with the most studdly men, are well below average height.

Although that survey seemed to indicate income levels according to male height, it could probably be proved that the most powerful men throughout history were not tall men and that even today the most many of the most powerful men like Putin are also not tall men.
