NO one here would care if that was Messi in that pic instead of Ronaldo. But its the fact that Ronaldo is tall, good looking, and talented. Those are the things we wish we had, if we had those things are lifes would be so much better. But the world is unfair. their are ppl who are short ugly and have a weird voice. Pl who want nothing more than to be average(and in fact being avg sucks just as much)
We have to sit here and watch ppl like Ronaldo(i know he worked very hard. but even if he wasnt a pro athlete his life would still be great) have this amazing life(and you only live once) while we have this avg or below avg life and have to realize we will NEVER have some of the things that he has. I hate it so much. i wanted to be on the soccer team. I wanted to date her. cant fukking take this any more

Being depressed isn't going to change anything. Your choices are as follows,

1. Get as rich, famous, built as possible.
2. Learn game.
3. Get in where you fit in and accept your lot, play the game and you'll get lucky sometimes. Be happy when you do, don't get all emo when you don't, carry on.

Actually, it's all three.

My Dad used to tell me, Bill Gates has a wife, and the janitor at your school has a wife. Having a wife isn't a big deal.

You have to figure out what you want, if you really want super model type chics, then you have to get in the game that puts you in that path. Famous person, famous photographer, big time agent or some sort of mogul. If you aren't willing to play in that game then shut up. Plenty of average dudes getting average to above average chics in their home town. It's a guy out there right now who probably looks like you, makes a little bit better coin, in a little bit better shape, with a little bit more social skills and connections who's got a great looking girlfriend. Nothing stoping you from being that guy is it? Local heros still get local models yah? You follow? Win in your pond, don't worry about the winning in the next man's pond until you get in it. You ain't swimming in this guy's waters. How are you doing in your waters?

Who gives a crap? Yachts, women, and money won't bring you interior happiness. If you're not content and happy with you, why would something exterior to you make you feel any better? Sure, money helps, but in the end, we all die. Ronaldo can't die any less than we can.

Be proud of who and what you are. If who and what you are sucks, change it. Lose weight, get beefed up, get slick moves with the ladies.

Nothing but yourself can make you be happy.

And, that woman. Someone, somewhere, is fed up with her sh!t.

Also, that chick he's with isn't that attractive.

The man who when the British press probed into his very camp lifestyle almost insinuating that he might be a closet homosexual would magically appear with a stunning woman on his arms in the papers the following morning. The footballer (soccer) player who cheats, dives and cries like a baby when he isn't centre of attention on the football pitch (soccer pitch). The man who has manicures, pedicures, who waxes his body, wears the tighest shorts known to man (and still fails to display a visible package) and who seems to enjoy sunbathing until he resembles the colouring of a crab.

I envy no man, but if I was to envy a footballer Cristiano Ronaldo wouldn't be one of them. Lionel Messi, maybe, just for his sheer ability and the fact he isn't a completely and utter moron with no brain cells like his counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo.

A CR7 Hater I see. Ronaldo didnt pay a woman to have his child. You mean he payed a woman so he could have full custody of his child. I dont agree with what he did but the woman is a horrible mother to throw her son out of her life for cash. Ronaldo does everything for that little boy though.

And Ronaldo has earned the right to bask in all he has accomplished. People need to stop comparing him to Messi, as if Messi never dives or cries on the pitch. Hell Barca is full of whiners and criers who dives just as much as any other spanish football team if not worse. Thing is Messi is lucky to be surrounded with superstars at almost every position and guys from a World Cup winning Squad.

Dont hate on Ronaldos lifestyle man. Hes paid his dues and keeps in shape, keeps scoring goals, keeps making money, and has always dated gorgeous women. But I guess if no one was hating that would mean he wasnt doing something right.

And to the OP, Ronaldo is from one of the poorest parts of Portugal. He could of very well ended up some average out of shape regular joe. But he worked hard on his game, appearance and personality to get him where he is today. Do the same. Success is not some miraculous overnight thing for everyone. Its hard work for many.

I could not give a monkey's chuff about Ronaldo or high flyer with loads of cash, cars, houses etc. They all worked hard to be where they are.

I love my life, my job, my car, my house, my hobbies etc...

Why do you think that is? If he wasn't a pro athlete all he would have is his personality, and his body.

Your personality you can change. You can get a body like Ronaldo's by working out and getting a tan. Then get a haircut that fits how you look.

All of these are in reach of the "average" person. You live the average lifestyle cause that's what you settled for. No one is pointing a gun to you and stopping you from going to the gym or exercising, am I right?

wow, this thread sucks. Lots of people hating on Ronaldo and the OP both. Very weird.

OP brings up a good point. He is an average guy, Ronaldo is--in all outward ways at least--the cream of the crop. OP is pissed he will never have what Ronaldo will. It's very natural to feel this way. Unfortunately, this feeling will remain with him his entire life; he will either get used to it and psychologically deal with it or not. That is all.

It doesn't have to. He can get off his butt and work out, further educate himself, and better himself.

Ronaldo didn't have soccer talent dropped in his lap. He didn't have a nice body given to him. He worked for it all. And now he reaps the benefits.

OP wants all the benefits with none of the work.
