I tried reading this back when I first got into the manosphere, because it was one of the recommended books.
Honestly, although I'm sure there is material in there that can be used, it's just too manipulative and cynical for my taste.
I couldn't live my life like that.

yea, no need to do everything, only need to be aware of everything. its ok to be kind, generous, and to help others. real leaders are usually full of good traits. they also are aware of things. the first law in the book is interesting. never outshine the master. I had never thought about that until I read this work. it then goes on to explain when it might be ok do to so. some of those ok to do so cases some might find manipulative. It is nice to recognize when another is making such a play.

Yeah, it's nice to know tactics that other people might use with you. But I have to admit I can't recall any such occasion in my life. I do know some manipulative people, but I'm pretty skeptical of all their actions anyway.

one of the laws is to not react. do not show surprise when others try to surprise you or other emotion tactics. this does not harm anyone and really helps to reduce negative interactions.

Just like religion, there are many great aspects about it but unfortunately it also lends itself to grifters trying to milk clueless men financially dry. But on the other hand...if the redpill doesn't do some jezebel will..

perhaps you can outline some of the faulty dogma ?

for example: AWALT. Of course this one is silly as we have large differences in all people. This is probably one of the most harsh ideas. But... on the other hand we do know that humans have some behaviors that follow gender division lines. The issue with this one is choosing the categories or behaviors that are true. As part of the same; some say that all men are like that (whatever that is), yet that is considered funny or an ok idea....

Another Red Pill Catechism that's horrendously simplistic: The notion that men alone have to acquire the skills to attract and maintain mates. Yes, the few women who are supermodel material may have an EASIER time attracting mates, but this is only less than 1% of the overall female population. The vast majority of women have to

-Smooth out their rough edges via plastic surgery

Or/and

-Learn to work what what they've got

And EVERYONE(regardless of gender)has to acquire the proficiencies to keep a high-quality SO once they've snagged on. Becoming attractive is, in one sense, the easy part
