Within the topic range of spirituality, meta-physics, physics, quantum mechanics, quantum physics, astrology, and much, much more, this video fits the bill.

I can't explan all it offers, as that would ruin it. But I will say, they combine in a very artsy, well produced and scripted movie (about 1.5-2 hrs) a fantastic glimpse of all the big questions we ask, or haven't asked, with added interviews and commentary by some of the worlds TOP scholars, meta-physicists, deep thinkers, spiritual speakers, and others. I was blown away, to say the least.

It doesn't come to ONE conclusion, rather it asks you to test what you THINK you know, and broaden your perspective. Some of these people are MENSA certified plus and you can tell they're beyond genius status just by their mannerisms. Some religious zealots may dub it "hubub", but I'd say just quite the opposite. Such videos make me MORE interested in spirituality, my own salvation, life, and meta physics, than the bible EVER could.

A-Unit,
I got about 5 minutes into this movie one time and had to turn it off. The fake science was ridiculous. The extrapolations of misinterpreted quantum theory into ideas such as, an object cannot exist without an observer, show that these TOP scholars have no merit. The ice crystal formation was ridiculous, beyond false and never peer reviewed. You want the truth on the physics behind the formation of water crystals look at http://www.cco.caltech.edu/~atomic/snowcrystals/

This movie was made by a lady who believes to be the channel to a 35,000yr old warrior from the lost island of atlantis. She's a fvcking prozac hungry nutjob who heads a lame ass cult who unfortunately didn't drink their kool-aid before making this movie.

What kind of information do you want?

JZ Knight the woman in this video believes that she is the channel for Ramtha. She runs a cult somewhere in the states whose name escapes me. The film is for the most part fictional.

Is that what you wanted to know or were you looking for scientific discrepencies in the film?

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

That basically sums it up...

The whole water reacts to feelings part was obviously total bull**** and although the movie as a whole was entertaining, it had hardly any actual merit.

lol... christ. What a reception.

I love how all the heads in here, w. Phd's in quantum physics, etc. are blowing the Mensa, MIT, Harvard, etc. Professors out of the water, who were featured in this movie.

Go figure, we had that many quantum physicists in here!?

I thought the movie was pretty damn good for what it was. Cheezy... FVCK YA! But a well produced movie about the holographic universe, we're revealing to ourselves right now through western science. Yes!

And the whole water thing. Whats so hard to see how feelings (energy) would influence the crystaline structure of other energy? Its all energy, its all frequencies.

I test anyone hear to go listen to an hour of babies crying, and guns shooting and see if your feeling good afterwards. Frequencies affecting you. Like the energy of emotions/music affect water. All the same. Except you'd experience the reality through yourself rather than a microscopic picture.

If your lookin for the most badass intro into the concious universe, etc... this isn't it. But its a pretty well made documentary, w. some heavy hitters in the field speaking on such issues.

Re:

Personally I own that crystal-water book, even before they featured it in the movie, so it wasn't shocking at all. There's far more science to back up the water-crystal emotion theory, than that book and movie IF you look around.

As far as that one lady, I did not see one connection between her and Ramtha, unless it was a teaser video.

But again, new perspectives, new lines of thinking CANNOT be opened up IF you're already closed off to the possibility, which is precisely what I am hearing.

I'm glad it garnered and opinion. Personally I found it wonderful, insightful, and thought provoking. It wasn't meant to say "HERE IS THE SOLUTION." As noted in the movie, THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH RELIGION. It absolves the follower/faithful of any responsibility to learn under the mattress and under the bed and see what's under there. That's always been my problem with religion. Acceptance under blind faith. Sometimes you just have to, but if we're talking my eternal solve, I'll look before I leap.

Then again, I've read many books that are branches of this tree, so nothing they proposed seemed far-fetched.

I'll buy what was spoken and discover for myself the truths proposed. They merely presented questions, and facts about what science DOES know. They never said HERE's the answer to your eternal salvation, and much like the Da Vinci code, such books/movies are heresy to organized religion.

I'm glad some guys saw it, so they could act as a foil to my opinion of the movie. But I'd still have to give credit to a bunch of scientists and mystics who average over 20 years experience, 40 years old, perhaps are all or most members of MENSA, with such a diverse background presented OVER a bunch of guys presenting opinions on SoSuave.com. No offense.

Thats a pretty ridiculous comparison. Of course listening to gunshots and babies crying will affect us because we can think. If we had no idea what a gunshot was then it wouldn't have the same affect on us, it might scare us a bit, but we wouldn't be able to make the relation between the sound and what it could mean. Water is hydrogen and oxygen... they dont feel emotions. The only way any part of his theory is even partially realistic is if the bass on the music he played (he played classical for good crystals, rock for bad) was affecting the formation of crystals because of the way it was moving the water.

No offense taken.

In real life I am a scientist. What gets me about this movie is that it spreads falsehood into the public about science. If you want to read an interesting perspective into the potential of quantum mechanical theory on the brain I would suggest reading anything written by Roger Penrose. He is a well probably one of the leading physicists of the 21st century and is selective in his words and theories.

The water crystal thing is a total sham. Last I heard there was a million dollar offer to that "scientist" if he could reproduce the experiments in a blind methodolgy. As far as I know he hasn't taken it up. No doubt, ice does make for some amazing pictures. All of his experiments were done with an outcome in mind. He shows individual crystals taken from fields containing a million other crystals exposed to the same influences and calls that science. That isn't peer reviewed science for a reason.

Sure, you can trust 5 people from Mensa, one who thinks she is a warrior from atlantis, or you can trust thousands of PHDs who say that the water experiment, along with 90% of the movie is total bull****.

No offense or anything A-unit, I've got alot of respect for you from you previous posts.

Me thinks A-Unit has accepted a new religion... I hope you do not fall prey to the circularity of these arguments, namely paranoia. If you continue to read deeper into theoretical sciences your mind begins to accept theory as fact.

"Two farmers stood in a field. The first says "Those planes in the sky, they make the clouds go away." The other farmer replies "how so?" "You never see the planes on cloudy days"

P.S. Me loooooves the way you make statements, and then disregard any negative responses with the "what do you know argument", can I make a rebuttle by saying this is how you 'feel' about the movie, and not what you 'think'?

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Re:

I know I like hearing "new" thoughts. And that's what this presented, along with:

>Disappearance of the Universe
>Da Vinci Code
>The Stellar Man
>The Valerian Matrix
>David Icke
>The Uncovering
>Rense.com
>Osho, the Book of Secrets
>Stuart Wilde (anything)
>The Way of the Peaceful Warrior
>A Course in Miracles
>The Matrix Warrior
>The Philosophy of the Matrix
>The Book
>Tao The Watercourse Way
>Being Nobody, Going Nowhere
>The Bible
>Awareness

I could go, but I've read enough on both sides of the fence. Maybe I have a propensity for such thought streams, but I don't ever decline thought that is "new". To me, nothing was bogus, not yet. It's worthy of self discovery; somehere have done that, which I applaud, and at least you watched it.

What I think is TRUE and is UNIQUE, is that, in general, nothing is perfectly solid. This is true WITH or WITHOUT this movie. Moreover, there is NO SEAT to the soul, no place to find a driver. That, I knew prior to the movie, only it confirmed it with MORE experts (if you do believe they are experts in their field). That said, if everything is BOUND together by something CONSCIOUS, then to me, that makes more sense than suggesting a ROCK is hard. What holds it together?

The body has no special PERMANENCE. There is nothing holding the body together. Cells die all the time. Guys come here to REformat their personalities. So if the personality isn't permanent, and the body isn't permanent, even for 1 day, then its safe to say something. Every person, every thing has a SPARK of divinity, or consciousness, that gives it LIFE or personality. That I've long suspected awhile ago.

And while the crystals MAY appear to be a sham, I would do more personal research on that as well. We ARE water. We know this. Muscles contain mostly water and glycogen. Water flows in everything, and it's the 1 substance we require after only a short period of deprivation. We have all felt what it's like to be negative or evil, and like attracts like, truly. I know I have experienced it.

I do recall someone saying the following...that life has both NEGATIVE and POSITIVE existing simultaneously. And you can choose to see NEGATIVE or POSITIVE THAT moment. That the coin, exists TOGETHER. You can divorce heads from tails, and tails from heads.

A-Unit,

This stuff no doubt makes you expand your sense of reality and possibility. And that's beautiful.

The key to knowing that it's propaganda of sorts is to notice the emphasis they place on the titles of the contributors.

To actual scientists, titles get you in the door, but your ideas and how well they mesh with data is what makes or breaks you. There are plenty of PhD's and Mensa members who are poor at probabilistic inference and fail in research careers as a result.

For those that aren't in the club, however, titles are worth a lot.

My 2c is that belividere is right on the money.

You mean to tell me that the cartoons weren't real?

sidenote: water DOES respond to people. for example, i was taking a piss one time with the lights off, and I swear I heard the water in the bowl snicker, "well you could at least wake me up before inviting friends over..."

The city that sleeps. Sometimes.
yeah.. that stuff about indians not seeing the ships was absolute bull****.

Most of the first encounter accounts all over the world (from all the famous explorers) say that indians/pacific islanders/etc definitely saw the ships, the just didn't know what they were (some thought white stairs to the skies - sails, others thought big ghost boats with dead people - pale whiteys and so on)

Stuff about the water is bull**** too.. And so are many of the ways they explain stuff.. They even draw on the science fiction - cmon, ever heard of the weirding way from dune?

But overall, we still need more movies like this just to have people constantly reevaluating their worldview. Without provocation, we would just stagnate.

I do appreciate the movie for the messages that your world is what you create it to me, your positive thinking has a huge effect, and so on.

Wish they would not have put in the obviously fruity stuff.

Yup ... imagine being forced to watch this sh!t ... painful doesn't begin to describe it. This movie was simple minded drek for people who are intellectually lazy ... for good alternatives, which serious scientists take seriously, I 2nd the Roger Penrose nomination, e.g. "Emperor's New Mind".

This movie makes sense to chicks and all those employing chick logic; anyone else will either laugh or become annoyed by the simpletons on display.

Here is a good article which lays out the nonsense in the film point-by-point:
