Master Don Juan
Talked a little with Lefty tonight. He was getting peeved cause I seemed to have self-doubts, but I thought I'd write a post on some of those ideas and clarify it for myself, him, and the rest of you all if you want to read.
I also wrote a 3 page guide on using meditation to approach girls and also to maintain relationships. Maybe I'll post it this week.
So Lefty had a big point that any guy can get the hottest of girls, if he gets his inner game straight. I agree with him there (but who can define "hot," really? Is it skinny? How about Marilyn Monroe?). But I have a condition to add on.
When going for only 9s or 10s, you will inevitably be rejected more often. They have more orbiters to consider and they have higher standards for how attractive a guy should be to date them. This does not mean that an unattractive guy can't get a 10, it just means he needs to be REJECTED MUCH MORE before finding a girl who loves his personality enough. There are also fewer very hot girls, so he needs to force himself into situations where he can meet many new 9s and 10s so he can be rejected by many of them.
Also, I firmly believe that one does not need a 9 or 10 for a long term relationship. From personal experience, I have found that attractiveness of the girl does not significantly affect the quality of the sex (I've done it with all sorts). There are all kinds of factors that go into sex quality, and body shape isn't so critical.
So why do we feel the need to go for very hot girls? I think its based on how we want to be viewed socially. We want to be alpha, we want to be well considered by the group, and having a hot girlfriend helps with that. That's all well and good through high school and college, social groups are at their most critical in that stage of life.
But how important is it to appear alpha to your social group after college? Are you any better than people around you because your girlfriend/wife is hotter? 30 years after college, is she still hotter? Are you still proud of your "alpha" status?
Mind you, I'm not knocking anyone with a hot girlfriend, especially if she's a good person on top of that. But is that really your main goal? Don't you think you can have long-term happiness with any girl that truly loves you?
