I love the idea of a personal ten. Individual attraction definitely matters.
This. I think what bryce is trying to say is that there's no way you can argue that Rosie is hotter than Kate...regardless of personal views. However, if you're dating Rosie, don't do it just because you're trying to go against standards or prove something to yourself or society about values/whatever etc.. Rather, date her because she truly makes u happy and is your 10 (which i don't see how she could be your perfect 10, but if she TRULY is then good for you).BPH said:Would you rather f*** Rosie O'Donnell or Kate Upton? And if you try to make an argument for Rosie's personality or some other BS it just shows that you're trying to destroy standards to make your personal choices more acceptable as you seek validation.
Dude i don't think anyone disagrees with you on this one. At least i dont...which makes me think this whole argument is a big misconception. On a personal tangent/side note, I don't want a 10 because I want to impress other people (ego), I want a 10 because of me. It's just like how you want a 10 in personality because that's what will make you happy. A true 10 is what will make me happy. In other words, I don't think I can marry a girl if she's not truly my perfect 10 (in looks and personality). **** other people...it's not about them. This is relateable to the fact that I want a lot of money. I don't want it for other people, I want it because it's what's important to me. That's why I'm working my ass off to get there. And that is my personal tangent/side note that explains that we/i don't disagree with your above statement.LearningSlowly said:I'm not arguing ugly girls are better than hot girls. No ****. If you're not mature enough to realize that we all have different versions of a perfect 10 then idk where you've been...LearningSlowly said:I love the idea of a personal ten. Individual attraction definitely matters.
Are you saying you can't have inward wealth, lasting happiness, and joyful peace, while also being rich?LearningSlowly said:Alex, then we also differ because I don't want to be rich. Rather than have outward expressions of wealth, I would rather have inward wealth, which is lasting happiness and living in joyful peace.
I think we have the same goals. I just have the additional goal of wealth. Or maybe, wealth is a means to achieve the other goals (the ones you stated above).LearningSlowly said:Just saying we have different goals.
