ok, so I was talking today with a few of my lady friends about a subject that I never realized was touchy to me. The subject of race. I'm white, but I asked two girls that I knew pretty well if they would ever date a black guy(both at different times), this led into long conversations. The basic result of which being, it would depend on the guy, but they weren't completely sure because of the social consequences.
One: what is your stand on this?... this only adds to the belief of mine that all women are ambivolent because of the fact the first thing they said was "no" and then I had to make them understand what I meant by "black guy"
Two: eventually they both said that it would depend on the guy but, FOR ME, if I'm out with a woman of a differnet race, then I feel like my social standings is better because of that fact... like people will like me more BECAUSE of the fact that I'm at the coffee shop with a woman of a different race, or at the pool hall with a woman of a different race, or bowling with a woman of a different race... how are men and women different in this subject?
