And YES you see a difference in measurements even taking them weekly.
This one?

4 weeks is too soon to see results for many people on a cutting cycle, as your body is just starting to undergo changes. I just got off a cutting cycle (11 weeks) and I didnt start noticing changes until about week 7. Cutting fat takes time and you have to do it in a way in which your body is comfortable in letting your bodyfat go.

Avoid the low-carb crap. If youre active, you NEED carbohydrates for energy. At this stage, everyone is on this low carb thing just because they hear everywhere. If that's the route you take, as soon as you eat carbs again, youre going to blow back up. So instead of cutting carbs, do things like changing from white rice to brown rice and changing the type of breads you eat from white to wheat. Those are better options than cutting your carbs altogether.

Green tea definetely works. I used this during my cutting cycle and it not only helped to cut fat, it also suppressed my appetite later in the evenings--be sure that you drink Green Tea in the evenings to take the edge off nighttime hunger.

A book that you might consider getting to help you out is titled, A Flat Stomach ASAP by Ellington Darden. I used this book for my cutting cycle and it definiety does work.

Good luck!!!

You wont be able to cut on 2700 cal a day plus the occasional beer. THe calories from ethanol contribute to all that lard around the belly so its totally **** on any kind of diet. Also, it's the carbohydrates that you should be watching out for. Minimize bread, pastry, coke, and any sweets.
Yes it is possible I was on the very same diet a year ago and went from about 91kg to around 83/84 without losing muscle (I still used the exact same weights afterwards and my abs definetly looked better afterwards. Besides Ive lost 5 -6kgs so far during the last 5 weeks of cutting and I lost them week by week, thus its probably not just water weight and Im still using the same weights to lift ---> no / hardly any muscle loss....now tell me why should what im doing be wrong if im losing weight week by week but dont lose any strength. Either your losing muscle or your losing fat, right? (or water but u wont lose too much water weight after cutting for 4 weeks already...)

Besides Im losing 1-2lbs per week. If it did improve my results I would even go below 2000 calories instead of 2700, but as far as I know Id risk losing muscle big time by going for more than 1-2 lbs weight loss per week. (oh and by the way the occasional beers which are like 4 beers once per week are included in the 2700 cals)

@Nightwing..yeah I know that 4 weeks can be considered too soon and stuff, but its really not like a got a lotta fat on my stomach or anything. Last time I was done cutting after 7 weeks and was in pretty perfect shape afterwards. This time I only weighed like 2 or 3 pounds more than the time before (but definetly not over 3 pounds more!) and even lift a bit heavier than the last time i started a cutting cycle! but anyways I guess in 4 weeks maybe 5 or 6 when Im at 83/84 kgs Ill definetly see a change, cause the weight Im losing must be taken from somewhere and it doesnt seem to be muscle as I've mentioned a couple of times before ;)..anyways Ill tell you how it went in a month or so

Yup. 3 cups of green tea a day has been proven to increase the amount of calories your body burns by up to 35%.
3 cups of green tea, canned or the tea bag version?

I'm not sure about that one, I've never used it personally but I've heard from others that the readings on the digital calipers are very erratic. The one I was talking about was the accu-measure caliper (there's a link to it on the page you posted). Its only $20 as well.

Don't think it matters much as long as it uses actual green tea leaves. I use both and haven't seen much difference other than taste.

I agree, but with a caveat. A no carb diet is definitely BS. A diet with a higher ratio of protein than carbs is good. I've been using a 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fat diet and had great results so far. Plus as you said the type of carb matters a lot. Processed carbs are horrible for cutting and should be avoided. Vegetables, fruit (in the mornings), whole grain breads, potatoes, pasta (after a workout), and brown rice are great.

I was just not patient enough, my abs definetly look "harder" now and Im still gonna stay on my cutting diet during the next 3 weeks. Btw I measured my bf percentage with one of those calipers (got it today) and it's 11,6%. Sounds really accurate but the next lower bodyfat percentage you could measure with the caliper would be 10,5%. Anyways I hope it really is as accurate (1,1% higher/lower than the real percentage at the most) as they claim it is...I was wondering if it was, because I didnt even have to use a formula which considers my height or anything, but it does consider my age ?!lol

You shouldn't need to factor in your height, only your weight. Once you know your weight and your fat content you can determine the %fat. I wouldn't assume its 100% accurate, but you will get at least a basic idea of where you're at. If its a consistent caliper then you will be able to tell week by week if your cutting diet is resulting in fat loss or muscle loss and adjust accordingly.

Just to let yall know I stopped cutting on thursday and after those 8 weeks of cutting Im pretty satisfied with the results. I reduced my weight from approximately 203lbs to approximately 183lbs, my lifts stayed almost the same (I lift the exact same weights but instead of 7 reps for bench/military press I can only do 6 now, my curl reps (and weight of course) hasnt decreased at all and so on...). Anyways I think in a couple of days/weeks Ill weigh like 6 lbs or so more again (due to water retention). Im realistic..not all of the weight I lost was fat, some of it was definetly water. But anyways Im SO ****ing glad Im done now and can look forward to bulking up some more :-D

WRONG. Ever heard of CKD? (cyclical ketogenic diet) Best cutting diet of all time. PERIOD.
