Picking up girls online - stupid waste of time! I'm very angry.

Alright guys, who here does online PU at all and gets any success?

I've come to the conclusion that online is a f*cking waste of time when it comes to meeting women.

Now what I'll say is I've never had success this way. Ok, I met an ex gf online, but that was years ago. On the whole though, all the meet ups I've had have been disastorous in that the girl has been completely different to what I expected or we ended up in friends zone because of spending too much time chatting online.

Another thing is that these dating sites, eg plentyoffish, faceparty etc etc have got hundreds of thousands, if not millions of members, and girls usually get dozens upon dozens of messages sent by AFC guys every f*cking day. So unless you really want to waste your time, you'll have to wait a long time for a reply from most HBs you message.

Seriously, I send out 25 messages on plentyoffish.com, saying the following:-

'Hi,

I'm new to this site and was browsing profiles...you're certainly good looking, but beauty is common these days so I was wondering what do you have going for you apart your looks? Tell me a bit about yourself and I'll see if you might be the sort of girl I'd go for or not.'


.....and I got NO RESPONSES.

So I tried Faceparty. I've not had a lot of success there either. Most of the time you don't get a reply, or if you do you either get a *****y girl or someone who just wants to be friends. What the **** is going on!

I messaged 2 girls on Faceparty with this message:-

'Hey, you're probably tired of all the guys messing you saying 'you're really pretty' etc etc....so tell me, what have you got going for you other than your looks? Tell me a bit about yourself & I'll see if you're worth my time or not.' (I put 'hello dork' in the subject line)

I thought that would make me stand out from all the chodes, yet I got 2 very b*tchy responses.....

Much better but it's still a bit "blah." Still needs a bit of "umph" to set himself apart from others. Nothing in that message is memorable, it says "nice guy who's probably worth taking a girl out to a couple of dinners and nothing else."

1) Post a better picture. Women have lots of guys vying for their attention so she won't bother reading your profile if you don't have a good picture.

2) If you go to nonpaying sites like plentyoffish, its pretty much like going to myspace or facebook. If you know women shell out a bit of money for this, at least you know they will take it more seriously and are not just on it for attention wh0ring purposes.

The cool thing about the net........last nite, signed onto a site........send 1 email........3 minutes later she writes back........15 minutes later I am at her house.......and she was hot. IF you want to just rely on the net, it can be very efficient way to bang chics. It does however lack the confidence building of cold approaching.

I've tried net2bed and it didn't work for me.

In a nutshell this is what net2bed talks about:
- conveying sensuality in your profile by going on the descriptive and describing tastes of wine, cooking, or anything to show you are sensual.
- portraying strength of some form - find out your strengths and base your profile on those.
- electric contrast - that's it's major theme, making sharp contrasts - such as if you are a workaholic, then mention that you play hard too, or if you are a nice guy, make sure you mention you like some masculine things like sports, etc... so that people can not pigeonhole you into a category.

That's what net2bed is all about in a nutshell - but when I tried it during it's trial period, I've tried changing my profile, and guess what, results are still the same as if there is no change.

If you suck at online dating, then I would not recommend net2bed since it did not help me out and it never clicked with me.

Have done this, but some people say my pics look geeky. I've even tried 'lookbetteronline.com' to get professional photos in parks and what not, and still to no avail.

I've tried this before, and it seems no matter what you write, that it doesn't connect. My experience is I may get some connections here and there if my profile was less rigid (when I was experimenting my profiles were not rigid, but now I dont care).

I've got better results from free sites than paying sites. I got friendzoned by people I meet from paying sites, but at least I got kisses from people I meet on the free sites.

Right, doesn't that sound a tad desperate? You have to invest all that time to send so many emails just to get a response or two if you are lucky of people you are probably not really that attracted to or compatable with.

You get responses from girls that men aren't all chasing after, divorcees with kids, people with kids, or some really fat girl or something while the hot ones just go 'read, delete'.
