whats the deal with bootcamps. it appears that all the information we really need is here in front of us on the net. does it really take someone holding your hand to meeting women?

just a thought. because i honestly could never see myself going to a 'bootcamp" to me that is the epitome of hitting rock bottom.

please do your self a favor before you shell out thousands of dollars for one of these seminars or bootcamps and get your inner game on point.

I don't know about bootcamp, but if you apply it to courses on anything.

1. You're trained by people who are successful at it.

2 You meet other people with similar problems to you.

3 You get the opportunity to practice it in a safe environment.

4 You are put in a situation where you are obliged to DO IT.

5 You get external feedback on your own efforts from someone who has done it.

6 You're taught one whole, integrated system.

7 You are mentally focused on it for the period of the course.

There are more no doubt. You can go down the wingman route, but if someone is clueless and has the cash, assuming the course is kosher and wants to get moving, it's probably a good option.

I'd have more time for someone who has hit rock bottom and decided to go on a course rather than someone who languishes in his pit of despair, never improving or taking any action to improve.

I am sure seminars such as those run by David DeAngelo are extremely valuable. If you can afford to pay for one and you feel it can improve certain aspects of your life then why not.

Didn't SexPDX do a bootcamp with the PUA Juggler? I remember reading that thread when I first joined this site.

Personally I wouldn't do it. Just go out with a friend that's good with women and get feedback. It's also free. If you want to learn about bootcamps, there's a review section on the fast seduction web site where peeps have reviewed various bootcamps.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

All the "information" you can possibly need is definitely out there. Actually, I can guarantee that 90% of the people here have read everything they will ever need to know about seduction.

Having said that, you can never really understand a particular approach to PU until you see it done in real life. That's why I took the Juggler workshop and it was worth every cent.

Also, it's not necessary to spend thousands of dollars. I only spent $300 on my workshop and it's saved me at least ten times that much in wasted time wondering how to apply concepts that I have down to a T now as result of that. I think Juggler charges more than $300 now but I am sure it's still well worth it. Also, if you do this, do it with someone you KNOW is good. That's sometimes hard to judge but enough people I trusted vouched for Juggler for me to be confident that it was a good decision.

The problem with some people's workshops now is that the groups are too large and students don't get as much individual attention. It was just me and one other guy in the Juggler workshop. Both of our game was pretty good to begin with and him and I had been out together before so it was a pretty productive workshop all in all.

I have always had friends who were good with women and I have learned from them but remember that just because somebody can do it does not mean that they can teach it necessarily. In fact, many naturals can't teach at all just because naturals by definition don't cognatively understand what it is that they do and why they are so successful. Nonetheless, there is a lot to be learned from watching them in action.

ALL the information is not here. They are not holding your hand. That is like saying you're gonna learn how to be a master pianist by reading a book or a website. If you want to perfect continually improve your skill, you must learn from somebody who is an expert on the subject at hand, and most importantly, who can cut your time by being able to teach it.

No, rock bottom is someone who decides to stay where they are at because they don't want to invest time, effort, money, or are afraid to seek out help. Rock bottom is someone who reads, reads, yet is unable to apply the skills in real life situations and just gets frustrated and gives up and ends up worse that when he started. The frustrated chump decides to stay frustrated, even after finding out that there are people who can help him improve at a fraction of the time.

I agree with you here. A newbie, who has no skill, knowledge, and who has no confidence or inner game whatsoever, has no business spending time, money, and efford learning basic/obvious skills from an advance instructor who is better suited for somebody who has learned everything they will on their own, and is only seeking help from the best because they want to take their game to a higher level, just like SexPdx did. It is only a waste if you didn't think it was. If you didn't learn enough to justify the cost.

A newby would definitely get more out of the stuff posted here and other places in the net then he would from an advanced education, because of the skill level. The higher your skill and tighter your game, the more you're gonna benefit when you seek top notch instruction from the best; just as Eric Clapton would get the most out of buying and playing a $10,000 guitar than a beginner would. Just like the concept of a guitar is a guitar is a guitar is not true, neither is the knowledge and quality of every educational/intructional source.

Seriously, I rather invest my money than wasted it. I much rather invest in a top education/skill set by learning from the best, than waste/burn my money on video games, buying drinks, cigarretes, or any other ways people like to waste their money on, with nothing to show for. It comes down to values and what you consider important, and to how good you want to become at anything. Then again, I am constantly looking for ways to improve any and every aspect of my life.

you're right i think,

there's no need to take a bootcamp or a COURSE or a CLASS or any such thing.

almost all the information that you need for ANYTHING is already available free (god bless the web) or cheap (for me, a good way to learn just about ANYTHING is about 3 books on the subject (different authors... a survey of the subject with cross referential knowledge accrued thereby) and a few months worth of magazine reading on the subject [picked up still photography that way]).

i'm a computer graphics guy myself and i'm entirely self taught. schools charge ludicrous sums of money for the same education or less that i gave myself. in the work place, i've not encountered a few people who are beneficiaries of such schooling but aren't vastly superior to me to put it kindly....

the info is free and cheap if you're a self learner and/or book learner.

but there are indeed a LOT of people who can't do that.

so for them, schools and classes, though they charge a PREMIUM... are... indeed... worth it.

but if you can avoid it, AVOID IT!

if you haven't noticed a trend in pop culture, schools are the next big GOLD RUSH!

notice all the commercials for nurses assistants or online ed or 'can you believe i get paid to play video games?'!

and seeing that the current zeitgeist is pushing this whole SEDUCTION thing (i even saw a TV ad on g4tv! hahaha!), i've no doubt that there's a lot of hucksters out there who are gonna make a lot of cash from the long suffering geek propellerhead.

--------------------------------------------------

as always, buyer beware.

if someone's trying to sell you something, they're trying to sell you something.

oh,

and rock bottom for me is risking the perils of contracting a... ahem... 'professional'.

If you want to play tennis well, do you go on the internet to study all you can about it and then go out on court and expect to play like a Andre Agassi????

You get a coach that teaches you on court.. out there practicing. He doesn't hold your hand, but he's instructing, coaching, mentoring and motivating you to DO IT!!!!!

Sarging is no different...

for everyone that says these bootcamps are no better, you guys need to stop making these academic assumptions and get out there and play!!!!!!

Less talk... more play... OK!!!!
