Well it depends doesn't it? how much is the ticket going to cost?is she worth it?is she going to come up with the action?have you explicitly let her know your expectations?have you explained there is only one suitable Bed,Yours!at Maison Cognac.....I've done it when flush with cash and short on numbers,pleasant memories!!!....Having said that the understanding would be that you Bankroll her for the Weekend....No basis for a relationship....Why not fly to see her?that's much better if you have never met her.

I wouldn't do it, just sets the tone for the whole relationship...just tell her you'd like to see her if she comes out. Why can't her parents pay ? would you pay for a mate of yours ? If she has to save up and pay for the trip herself she'll appreciate more.
I hear ya. That's what I'm kinda afraid of; if I pay that she'll think I'm made of money or some crap like that. She wanted to come back home for the christmas to new years week but doesn't have the money for the flight. She's moving back here in March though.

You should pay for her ticket only if you can do so in good conscience. If you think she sees you as a cash cow, hell no. But like Scaramouche implied, if you make something happen with this one, you have major points with her and her family.
IF you are going to sleep with her atleast 4 times I would do it. How long have you been dating her? What is in it for you? If she was staying at your place and knew putting out was required this would be easy...

I used to date her and bang her a few years back. Lost touch with her because I had so much crap going on at the time. Some of my family lives in the state she resides in now so i took the opportunity to fly out to see her and also visit some family. I had the chance to whoopy her up but some of my family was around where we were and it just seemed inappropriate to do in front of them.
Just a couple of questions about holiday crap. Should I even bother saying Merry Xmas on Xmas? Telling her happy Bday cuz her Bday is a couple days after Xmas. And should I even bother saying Happy New Years too?
BTW the flight is about $700 round trip.

I've missed some nice "marks" because of the presence of family. I remember one time I was "in" with my sister's friend and my grandmother (God rest her soul) started meddling, trying to hook me up with a girl that I could've already hooked up with...made me feel so awkward I backed out and never got that chance again. This is absolutely not your responsibility. It sounds like she is trying to use your previous encounters as a way of bribing you. Be extremely wary of a chick like this.
Tell her you'd "love to see her if she makes it out" AND THAT IS IT!

So it's a bad idea to even say happy birthday on her birthday a couple days after xmas and to say merry christmas? A simple text on her birthday wouldn't be a bad idea would it?

Well, you would pay for a ticket if the guy was your best friend, so you probably would pay for the ticket if she was your long-term gf and showed loyalty.
But would you pay for a ticket for a guy who was simply an acquiantance? No. So don't pay for this girl who you are not close with.
So I texted her happy birfday on her bday. She replied saying I'm awesome because she didn't think I remembered her bday. I told her **** yeah I remember it. Then she says she wishes she was back home. And then flirting with her I told her I wish she was here too and I miss her. She says oh yeah, cool beans. And then starts ranting about some crap going on about her ex not paying for her kids private school and how he might get kicked out. I just told her that's messed up and her ex is a pos for doing that. She texted something else back pertaining to the thing about her ex but I never replied back because it was just ridiculous that she started telling me that crap. I mean I'll lend an ear for a while but when a chic changes the subject to something that's going wrong in their life from some light flirting and it consumes the whole convo there's no point. Just want some critique on how I handled it.
