I didn't know about this. My wife is Thai.. she was good until she wasn't.. sometimes well i will leave it for you to find out..

My concern with Thai women is that as an American mid-westerner (which a lot of guys interested in locking down Thai women are), it's not a good match.

This is my theory: Non-sophisticated cultures do not do well with sophisticated cultures. American culture is not very sophisticated. This is not a critique on American culture per say.

I feel like as a man, it helps to come from a more sophisticated culture than the woman if your goal is to lock her down. The reason is because the culture is like half the fulfillment.

The culture is what provides the social support and entertainment and meaning. If she comes from some sophisticated european or south american culture, it is not enough to just have stronger currency. She will rarely respect that. She will be bored and quickly find an excuse to move on.

A better match for the average american is someone from Dominican Republic, Central America, Puerto Rico. From Asia, maybe the bougie Phillipinas (but those are dangerous and can be extremely annoying helicopter mom types). I know one of one good match: an American guy and a chick that was a refugee from war town part of middle east, she could not go back. Her culture was a simple desert culture.
