This happened to me. And all I could do was laugh real hard!!

I know what you mean, it's confusing because your best friends usually agree with you on your reasons for doing things (like breaking up/finishing with your gf), or at least they seem to agree with you...

Seriously though, just relax and move on, this should speed your transition to the next girl if anything.

At worst, he sees this as an opportunity to hit on your ex and get some action with a hottie. At best, she confided in him and used him as a shoulder to cry on, and he weakened (it's hard not to...!).

You and her aren't together, just talk to them calmly about it and let them know you don't mind. There's no point breaking a friendship over a girl.
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
