no doubt, some of u guys are doin close to 200 pushups right now. im a light dude tho so its easier for me

how fast are u guys doin ur pushups anyway? cus its easier to do if u do it faster

I understand why you put this thread in AE, and I let it stay here to get some exposure, but threads like this do belong in H&F.

p.s. good luck with the challenge :D My record is 35 straight with 15lbs strapped to my back. 100 in a row would send me to the hospital!

lol i guess you all pussied out, finally achieved my goal last week, sure it wasnt in just 6 weeks but at least i followed through with it.

Just thought I'd say I completed this a few months ago when I started training for the marines. I've decided to join the navy instead now.

Try it in a time limit, mate.

The Royal Marines say you need to do 60 in 2 minutes. Going by that I'd say try it in a time limit of 3 minutes 10 seconds. :rockon:

I took the initial test and i perform 40,so iwould be starting from week 3 column 3 :rockon:

If only I knew how to do one hand pushups. I just keep falling over when I try to get in position. The right side of my upper body is a mess so two handed pushups are out of the question.

i've found that doing push up's consistently and lifting benching/butterfly press/ etc all increase your pushup's.

I do this pushup routine its kind of like a ladder. 10-1, and then 1-10.

You never break form, you can take as long of a break you want after every number but are not allowed to break form.

starts like this: 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.

i almost finished 8 on the way back up but couldn't hold it anymore.

with 1 arm pushups they are really hard if u don't spread out ur legs for balance. without the balance i could do 1-2 with my left army only.

i've been trying for years to do a 1 arm pullup/chin up. 30 was my max and i still couldn't get myself to budge. Hey i figured if jet li could do it, it should be humanly possible but somehow it still seems a long ways away.

i'm doing this...first day test was 6 pushups and today i did week 1, day 1, column 2:

6,6,4,4, 3 <--- :(

arms felt like jelly. I'm ussing their pushups logger website to keep track instead of sosuave

The Perfect Pushup actually works, get it at Wal-Mart, its cheaper than the As seen on TV one for some reason.

Ok, I'm bringin this one back.. First off, did anyone finish that started the program?? Final test, 100??

I've been doing with with my best friend the last month. I just hit week 4 this week and hit a wall.

I'm on level 3. Week 4, day 1:

I needed 5 more to move on to day 2, but no dice. My plan of attack here is to keep on truckin through week 4, knowing I won't be able to complete all of it....and next week give it a go again in hopes of finishing. After that is another exhaustion test.

Any of you guys get stuck at all?? It's a bit discouraging. I am however doing Option A Workout. Been on for about 3 weeks. Both are probably a bit detrimental to one another... but the pushups seem to be helping a lot in the gym.
