Week 4 - Day 2 (Repeat Week 1, Day 2)

Tuesday, July 15th

Again I was able to complete the exercises for the given day (week 1, day 2). The final set felt like death on the last push up but my muscles came through and pushed off the floor. I have definitely made progress but I will repeat week 1 again next week which should be the final time

Week 4 - Day 3 (Repeat Week 1 workout day 3)

This was the first time this week that I fell short of completing the full set. I could only reach 4 on the 5th and final set so I was one short today.

Nevertheless, I had a stellar week. I've seen real improvement. I feel I am finally in control of my workouts. I could force it and move on to the week 2 workout but I really want to get this handled before I move on so I will repeat week 1 one final time.

This was the first time I've exceded the minimum max on the final set. I did 3 extra for a total of 6. That's a good sign for this week...

Final Update

As you can see I've made real progress. I work out today (Tuesday) and again on Thursday. I am almost 100 percent positive I will be able to move on to week 2 exercises next week based on my performance on Sunday's workout.

Quoted from 6-21

Alright so I did the trial to find out my level. As expected I didn't make 5 push ups. I did 3. These were real push ups, not the girly knee push ups. As I said before I'm not in great shape. My arms are skinny and I'm over weight. However I'm committed to this push up challenge for the next 6 weeks as well as eating better and doing cardio such as walking and running.
Just thought I would point out the progress I've made. On 6-21 I could only do one set of 3 MAX push ups. During my work out on Sunday I did 4 sets of 2 push ups and finished with a final MAX set of 6. Not bad...

Thanks for the encouragement man.

As you can see, I was never really gone. I've just been continuing the workout behind the scenes at my own pace.

I did one more on my final set that the minimum required max (4). It is definitely looking like this will be my final week at week 1. Sweet

Week 5, Day 3, (Repeat Week 1 Workout Day 3)

Success! I completed the full workout for week 1, column 1.

4

5

Then an hour later, just for fun I did a max exhaustion test and was able to do 8! Not bad considering that I wasn't rested and that my max when I started all this a month ago was ONLY 3.

So I'm definitely moving on to the week 2 workout (column 1) this coming week. My progress is slow but it's steady. It may take me 30 weeks to complete the 6 week program but I'll get there. Oh yeah, I'll be going incognito again so I don't feel pressure to keep up. I'll post more updates when I complete week 2 successfully (which could take awhile..)

I'm astounded at my gains, since I pretty much struggled with Day 1.

However, the headaches are back and I'm gonna see a doctor.
Probably means I'll have to rest for another couple of weeks.

After that, I'll repeat Week 3 since I just barely made it anyway.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

Take the initial test and work from there.

It's a lot harder than it seems.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.
