You'll see this with people (for example, women and effeminate men) who are heavily conditioned to react with emotion, opposed to methodical and reasoned logic. There's no point fighting it or hating on it; it's simply the way of the world. Again the savvy individual learns to work this to his advantage.

An inexperienced guy should play the "dry spell" card if necessary.

First, the guy should fake it until he makes it. In other words, he should try to be intimate with her without mentioning the inexperience and see how it goes. If she comments about the guy's nervousness or awkwardness, he can just say that it's "Been a while." If she asks how long, say "About a year."

Most women can understand and accept a grown man being in a dry spell sometimes. Maybe his last relationship ended, and he got busy with work.

Also, if he's a guy who has NEVER had a gf, he's gonna have to lie when asked about relationship history. How long was your longest relationship? Again try "A little over a year." Anything less than that is considered "inexperience."

Virgin - unacceptable (to women)
Dry spell - ok

Never dated - unacceptable (to women)

If a guy is 40 or thereabouts and either very inexperienced or a virgin, THERE IS PROBABLY A REASON WHY THAT GOES BEYOND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

Never admit to being inexperienced. If a woman asks you how many women you have dated reply with quite a few. I like less than a thousand and more than one said with a smile. Be aloof. OK, so I was that 40+ year old you're talking about. I turned things around by becoming more social and spiritual... basically getting out of my head. I get plenty of dates, but screen heavily because at my age I can't be bothered with dizzy girls.
