Met a nice 8/9 woman, late 20s, has her stuff together, many positives.

She’s stayed over a couple of nights but no sex and I was like what the heck is up with that? I mean that is totally weird to me..

I’m still amazed and don’t know what to think really but Here’s the deal. She had kidney failure and had a transplant. She found out after the transplant that the the donor was a prostitute. A few months later she found a sore that she thought was an ingrown hair. She ended up getting it checked out and it’s herpes (she told me the technical term but that’s what it amounts to).

I can’t make this stuff up. She has a lot going for her and she’s hot but what the heck do you do?

She says she has been honest with people about it and she loses the relationship almost instantly.

I have to hand it to her on the honesty factor..

She takes meds to keep it at bay but I think I’m signing myself up for the same if I bang her, even if protected, but I don’t know as I haven’t done much research at all.

Anyone else come across this? And what a bad deal for her.. I guess I’m just seeking some thoughts on this. She almost died from this and she showed me all of the hospital pics and boxes of meds she was on for the longest time. This was also her second transplant as the first one didn’t take and they had to pull that kidney back out. Now she has one that works but was left with this disease.

At least she was honest. Most refuse to tell. Heck, I've heard of tales where the lady knows she has herpes, but doesn't tell the partner until after. Some even feel so hopeless after they get it they marry them. Stay away. She gets points for disclosing, but tell her to find a partner on the herpes dating sites. Until there is a cure or a vaccine, she's metaphorically screwed; like millions of others. It's probably one of the reasons many do not get tested for herpes. Someone told me herpes was never a big deal until the 80s where a magazine made a whole big deal about it. Then it was reclassified as a STI and it became a big issue. One of the reasons why it is so important to use protection and stay healthy. I know herpes 1 can be transferred to the genital region. I do not know if herpes 2 can be transferred to the mouth.

It just sucks. She actually seems legit. She has brought me gifts for my new house and even helped me paint my huge garage. She has a solid career, good family background, her own place, car, etc.

She’s also just over 5 feet, maybe 100-110 pounds, super tight, blonde, beautiful face, at least a c cup.

I feel like I just got robbed here.. And so did she..

It's like Russian roulette with your penis. Never have sex during an outbreak even with a condom. You can greatly reduce the odds of transmission by having her take medication for it and by always wearing a condom. I've heard it's not that bad if you do catch it, but I don't know if I'd risk it. Though for all I know girls I've been with have had it and weren't showing symptoms. If they don't say anything you never know. A surprising number of people have it.

Here's what I do. I take 1000MGs of lysine per day as well as 900MG of monolaurin. My doctor has told me that there is scientific evidence that should I catch it, both these sups (zero side effects) would prevent replication and lower the risk of outbreaks. One, Lysine does something to the actual virus in the blood. Two, the monolaurin prevents the virus from forming the fatty protective layer on the cells that slows the immune system from attacking the virus. In theory it would flood your blood and cells with things that the virus doesn't like and stays dormant. Now, I do not know if this is true, but both sups do have other positive effects on your body as well. Since I do not trust any lady in relationships, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Though, if she told you she had it, I'd pass. She can be a solid 10, but with herpes, she's a 1 and she knows it. That is the sad fact in why she seems to be trying so hard with you. A 300lb woman with a goutee has a higher smv than her. You may not think that, but if she doesn't have herpes and this one does, most men, if had to make a choice and couldn't turn back, would select the hairy hippo over the herpe lady

Only about 10% of people with genital herpes actually show symptoms. About 10-15% of the general population has genital herpes (more have oral) so if you banged 10-15 different girls already, one or more has had it. The stigma around herpes is 1000x worse than the actual condition. These SS posters talking about she's a "1/10 now" and SMV has plummeted are GD ignorant.

If you're careful and use a condom and/or wipe your penis with alcohol after sex you'll probably be fine. And if you do get it, I hate to break this to you, but YOU'LL LIVE.

Yes, L-lysine is proven to help as does Aclivar (name?) and some other meds.

Don't listen to these f*ucking SS morons that have their head stuck in the sand.

No, but think what you like. A few of my friends have herpes below the belt and on the herp drug. They say their life is miserable when the outbreak is released. So, think what you like, but you are mistaken. Greatly mistaken.

Everyone knows a condom doesn't protect against herpes. Herpes is a skin to skin condition. Which means it can be anywhere on a persons skin. Don't listen to Dash, he's had one too many drinks tonight. Go to https://www.herpes-coldsores.com/ for more real information. It will open your eyes. Sad.

If she is on daily antiviral medication, and not currently having an outbreak, you have less risk of catching it than you do with a random lay. The majority of adults have hsv2 antibodies in our blood, so pretty much everyone has it.

I've read somewhere that 1 in 5 adults in the US has herpes.

Many don't hv symptoms but those that do hv complained abt the sores and the accompanying pain.

Best to drop her, 4 in 5 doesn't hv herpes, date those.

Risk for M-f transmission during asymptomatic HSV2 is 10%, With condoms cut that by about half. Now if she takes a supressive med as a precaution, halve that again to 2.5%.

So this is how *I* look at it: There is risk in EVERYTHING we do. Just as a perspective:

20% risk of Heart disease (just by LIVING)

14% risk of Cancer (just by LIVING)

2.6% risk of Hospital infections (doesn't stop you from going to hospital when you have to, does it?)

1.2% risk of having a car accident ... 2% of them resulting in death.

Smoking causes about 90% (or 9 out of 10) of all lung cancer deaths in men, and 80% (or 8 out of 10) of all lung cancer deaths in women. More women die from lung cancer each year than from breast cancer. About 90% (or 9 out of 10) of all deaths from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are caused by smoking. Yet people still smoke!!!!

Don't be so GD paranoid.

I found out by going into her bathroom and seeing her prescription bottle for Valtrex 1G sitting right on the shelf. I hadn't slept with her yet but it was leading up to it. I made some BS excuse to leave. One just never knows what else that person might have.

i am familiar with that stat. That 10% transmission rate is per year of sex between married couples where one has it and the other does not, and they do not use condoms. So if that couple has sex 100 times a year, the single event risk is more like .1% or one in a thousand.

Not surprised. I've heard worse. Some tell you after the deed. Very disrespectful.

She can be a solid 10, but with herpes, she's a 1 and she knows it.
Most women are a fvcking 1 without herpes because they're pieces of 5hit in other ways.

Herpes from a kidney transplant? That's bull5hit. Genital herpes lives in the spine, not in the kidneys. She got it from being a wh0re and it was probably sitting dormant in her body for a few years. I'd pass on this chick.

Kidney transplant!?? That’s an awesome story. I am no doctor but don’t think you get herpes from a transplant. Girls are manipulative and spin the truth to make them the victims 99 percent of the time! I had a 10 book a hotel for us.... leading up to that night she talked about all her wild sex stories... she loved 3 somes with other girls. I was thinking w my other head. We get to the hotel and she is is dolled out in lingerie. Said she doesn’t want me to use a rubber.... I find this odd. Then I lead in with hey just so you know I’m clean. I’ve been to the doctor and tested multiple times. She says yeah I think I am as well????? I said have you been tested? Ummm yeah when I had my baby 5 years ago I think they tested me. Something didn’t feel right so I up and left. This girl went ape ****.... callled me screaming and crying on the phone. I slept well that night knowing I avoided catching something and ultimately dealing with a bpd.

@Machine10033 this is documented https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3228318/

@ everyone else. One of my boyfriends, when I was younger, had HSV. He told me WAY after we started being intimate. He was cautious with the situation and never gave it to me. My ex husband has it as well. He was on antivirals and never had an outbreak. He never gave it to me.

IMO, this inst something that needs to eliminate potential partners BUT I would say the partner needs to get on antivirals and be on them for a year, with no outbreaks, before I wold go condomless.

dude she slutted around like theres no tommorow and googled this story in internet then remembered it. dont believe stuff like that LMAO
does she have a transplant scar?
