hey guys, I just bought myself a Lexus IS, and I am only 19. I go to my local university and make a good living at a restaurant in town. Now, for my question:

Do you guys (with nice cars), tell women about them immidiately? Or do you let them find out about your pimpin ride on their own? I noticed since I bought my car I get tons of looks while I am driving, and old girlfriends want to fvck me in it.

Do you flaunt your ride? Have you ever flaunted your ride just to get some a$$? Any tips for getting pvssy with your car? let me know..

I HAVE A 2003 BMW 540I SPORT. AND IM 20 YEARS OLD. I GET LOOKS FROM EVERYONE, NOT JUST GIRLS. I SOMETIMES JUST PLAY WITH MY KEYS SO GIRLS CAN SEE THE BMW EMBLEM. BTW I AM A MORTGAGE BROKER THATS HOW I CAN AFFORD IT.

Using a nice ride to PU is for insecure people that have no game, and, will only attract gold-diggers.

Before you go hatin' on me, I've had a variety of nice cars, including a Corvette C5 Convertible, and an older BMW M3

I would purposely pick up girls on first dates in my daily driver (usually some older, economy car)

If there was a 2nd or 3rd date, I would then show up with the nice, expensive car.

It shows that you are not trying to impress them with your material possessions, and, it weeds out the gold-diggers.

Ok.. this has turned into a brag about your car thread  \

I have a Grand Prix GTP CompG and get looks ALL the time. It is sweet, but didn't get it for girls, got it for me.

Most girls don't know anything about horsepower/lbs per ft torque, tap shifting or really care too. If the ride is nice, that's all that matters.

You're only going to care you have a Lexus for the first couple of months, then it'll be "just another car"... which is all it ever was in the first place. Generally speaking, if she's remotely interested in you then you'll be doing something together, which means she'll see what you're driving soon enough. Bragging about your car is just... gay. By the way, I've got a Lexus as well - but the only way anyone would know is if they saw me in it or checked out my keychain.

If you can't get a girl without a nice car, you aren't going to be able to succeed with a nice car. Unless we're talking about a $100k+ car, which changes things entirely...

Two questions...
  • How old are you?
  • Have you ever noticed the expressions on the people giving you the looks faces?

Not true. That's like saying having nice clothes isn't important. Of course you're going to be judged by some degree based on what you drive - having a nice vehicle is a status symbol... which is exactly what the people at the dealership want to pound into your head. If you've got two identical guys who can both run the same game, but one rolls up in a beat up ford and the other in a brand new RX-8... guess who has the instant social boost?

Well yeah, a car isn't the end-all/be-all. If you don't have any game, you're not going to just hop into a Corvette and expect girls to fall from the sky with their legs spread open for you. I had an '82 Volvo when I was 17, but it didn't stop me from going after anyone I got my eye on... in fact, I was relieved by one aspect of having a crappy car (which isn't to say I ever liked having one..) I knew that no matter what else, the chick wasn't dating me for my car.

Back in high school, you might see girls dating a guy who has a BMW or Lexus, just as you see them dating someone who's 2-4 years older then them... but once HS is over, things like that tend to diminish in importance. Let the girl find out for herself what you're driving... Hell, I'll even tell girls I've just met that I have a POS car if they ask (not always, though...) My way of amusing myself, I guess... especially seeing their reaction (not that it's spectacular, but there's always a reaction when they expect to see an orange '75 Gremlin with a green door and a gold lexus is gleaming in the parking lot instead....) :p

I can't shake the feeling I've just contradicted myself somewhere in the last few posts...

honestly i think clothes are all that will make or break you, dressing in rags or k-mart specials isn't going to score you points..

find a style that suits you and roll with it, obviously if you like dressing liek something outta dracula or hot topic, then your not gonna get a model unless she digs that kinda stuff

I find guys who drive expensive cars to be a bit of a turn off most of the time. If he got the car because he genuinely loves the car and he's got his finances in order and under control, then it's not as big of a turn off. But the guys who spend too much for a car they really bought for everyone else (to impress) I find it to be VERY unattractive. I like financially responsible and frugal guys who don't waste money. A guy's purchasing habits speaks volumes about how responsible he is with money. That's extremely important to me. I don't care how much a guy makes...but I want him to make the most of and be responsible with what he has. I don't like wastefulness.

I drive a Specialized Rockhopper (24 speeds, baby!) - cars don't make up for deficiencies in personality, nor does the lack of a car nullify a good personality. If you find a girl who's into you, she's not going to mind picking you up for a date ;)

That being said, unless you're going for the kind of girl who REALLY cares about the cash in your wallet, a nice car isn't likely to get you laid. Be cool about it, and girls will likely be impressed when they see it - start bragging about it, and chances are it's going to be a turn-off.

a self made pua told me just last week...

"The car doesnt attract women. But it is a plus when it comes to closing the deal..."

He doesnt flaunt his Benz, but according to him after he built rapport with a girl, if she sees his car, it will attract her more...but to get her interested, the car has nothin to do with it.

I think that if Iguy just wants to get laid, and some gold digga allows him to dig her because of his car, he's not doing anything wrong. As long as he doesn't fall in her money ***** trap and stays on his game, whats wrong with using a car to lay mo hos?

Having a nice car is a hobby for some like anything else.

Before getting mine, looked at all the 2004 performance tests. It was number one pitted against 33 cars including the Audi A6, Jaguar S-type and BMW 300si. When new models came out for 2005, it went back to the track and still placed first! Chalk one up for American performance with a great look. Can't help it lol, like my car.

I don't even tell girls about it, they just see when they see it. No bragging or anything. Having a nice car is just me, have high standards for most everything.

You'll often find guys with nice cars often have awesome home theater systems too. For whatever reason, it seems to carry over into others things which is good, provided they can financially afford it.

Lets not turn this into a car thread, but STIs are not impressive. Wow, you can buy a fast car. Cool. Just because a "****ty riced car" isn't as fast doesn't make it worse, chances are that guy knows more about cars than you, because he did the mods himself, he didn't just plunk down some cash.

Personally I think that knowing about cars is MUCH more important than what you drive, but don't out-and say it. I drive an old BMW and know everything there is to know about it, done tons of mods. When a girl asks me why its so lod and fast, I mention a few mods, but don't bore her! Thats bad.

Her:"Oh, cool. Where did you get them done?"
Me:"Oh, no. I did them myself."
Her:"Oh..." (In her mind; "I didn't know he could work on cars.)

BAM! Immediate boost of mystery, and consequently interest level goes up. It works better than buying a lexus or mercedes and not even knowing how to change the oil. (Not saying you guys don't, but if you don't then shame on you. :p )
