The Chargers have the momentum in the AFC; the Colts are slipping, and the Broncos went into a tailspin. People are guessing it will be a Ravens-Chargers AFC Championship Game.

Is anyone else surprised by how good Vince Young is? I gotta say I did not see this coming this soon, if ever.

New England Patriots are gonna win this year! They beat the bears already and they will beat the broncos and the colts if they have to!

Well it's good to see that Tony Romo got voted into the Pro Bowl after only playing 5-6 games, yet he failed to take a snap properly after doing it all year, and cost Dallas any Superbowl hopes.

How about those SEAHAWKS!!!!!!

Great game yesterday.

It should be pointed out that... even should Romo HOLD that snap and the kick go through... there's still 1:19 left for Matt & crew to go maybe 35-40 yards and set up 4-game winning kick specialist Josh Brown for the winner.

I'm sitting here watching the Giants kick the Eagles around early... which sucks because I want my Hawks going to Chicago, not New Orleans. Chicago is prime to be upset at home (again). I mean, geez, Chicago hasn't won a game after December 30th since 1990.

Please...NE is not overrated. I guess by overrated you mean that they keep winning games vs good teams, have talent and have haters like you saying how much they suck and shouldnt have done what they did. Whats that? They beat the chargers with a ****load of injuries and you still call them overrated?

STFU already you dont know wtf you are talking about.

LOL.

Maybe you missed the Chargers game last week? NE overrated, please

You know what I like about NE is that they are a TEAM. Chargers had star players like LT but could not beat the Patriots. We do not have star players (other than Brady), but we have something called TEAMwork. It does not matter if we only won by 6 combined points, winning is winning.

So the Colts have a few star players, so what. It is like when the Pistons beat the Lakers. The Lakers had Kobe and Shaq, but the Pistons played like a TEAM. The Colts won last week's game with field goals, and you say they got offense? Pats beat the number one defense in the NFL last week, so that technically puts them above the Colts. Forget stats though, Pats have more experience anyway.

Patriots will kick Colts ass. Manning better watch out.

Oh, and by the way, you spelled Belichick wrong. He is not a fat dork, he's the smartest coach in the NFL.

So far I'm 7 for 8, only call I got wrong was Eagles vs Saints, figuring the eagles vets would step it up, but NO's 1-2 punch was too much. However, if Bears keep it up and win this, I'll be 8 for 9.

As for Colts vs Pats, I'm gonna go with Colts. Peyton played two horrible games and by all means Colts should have been eliminated by now, but their D won the games for them. Knowing this, Peyton will come into this game a lot more confident, and will pick apart Pats' weak secondary. Pats on the other hand, played an amazing game last week, and upset Chargers just like I bet they would. However, IMO, they played their Superbowl game last week and they will not have the same level of energy, especially not in this hostile field.

This week, they are facing a Manning who has survived a Baltimore D (best in AFC), and are playing them in Indy, inside a warm dome where Colts D dominates and hasn't lost all year. Add on top of it that the Pats 3-4 blitzing no longer works on Manning (as shown in regular season, IN foxboro), I doubt their D will get to Manning like Ravens have. Colts have been great at stopping the run these playoffs, and NE's recievers are nothing spectacular so I don't expect to see a great passing game from Brady.

This is Dungy's year.

Actually, San Diego had the 7th ranked defense in NFL, not first. San Diego is #1 in offense however. Baltimore Ravens had the top defense in the NFL this year, may wanna look up the rankings and get your facts straight bro

As for Colts winning their last game on field goals, what did you think was gonna happen? Facing the #1 D in NFL, of course it's gonna be a low scoring game. Even my little nephew could tell you that. The point is, they played a very gritty game they were picked to lose, and came out on top. The fact is, Colts D has outperformed all other teams these playoffs, holding KC to 8 pts and Ravens to 6pts.

In terms of passing game, Indy has #2 pass D, NE has 11th ranked pass offense. Indy has #2 pass offense in NFL, NE has 7th ranked pass D.

In terms of running game, Colts have dominated all run offenses these playoffs, so I don't see a banged up Dillon doing much damage where Larry Johnson couldn't cut it.

If pats win this, I'll certanly tip my hat, but I don't see it happening

(childlike mocking voice) New England's overrated...na na na na na! :)

A fortunate junior dynasty...that is the NE legacy.

Don't worry about it, pal. NE will be yesterday's news come Monday. Yes, they have won two Super Bowls...by a combined 6 points...(9 points if you include the one they never should have been in to begin with LOL).

Actually, I could care less who wins...but I'd MUCH rather see Tony Dungy go the SB...unlike billy belecheck, Tony Dungy has class AND a wardrobe (would somebody PLEASE burn that fvucking sweater cutoff!!)

I just wish i were the cameraman whom billy pushed aside after the Jets game. If I were that cameraman, I guarantee you my camera would have found the top of billy's head in two seconds flat.

Go Colts!!
Colts blows so much c*ck! they only won today against the banged up NE cuz of stupid refs with their BS calls. So let me ask you how many SUPERBOWLS did Payton Manning win? ........0 oohhhh how many did Brady win...... 3 omg wow 0-3 guess who's the better QB BRADY! Manning is a p*ssy he almost cried when he stubbed his thumb.. poor baby. Tony Dungy sucks too look at his playoff RECORD u MORON maybe you should read stats on ESPN. Wait sry ur prob too stupid to even understand numbers. Colts defense sucks they got the worst rush defense so they're going to LOSE against the Bears and both manning and Dungy will get fired.

My mistake about the Chargers defense ranking. Both of them played a real hard game today, and it was really close down to the end. I don't think stats had anything to do with it. It really went to the team who played the hardest, and you could tell our defense was worn out. Belichick was subbing in players like crazy. I think Pats made a critical mistake with that 12th man on the field near the end. Still, I'm glad we played as well as we did. I think the Superbowl is going to be a close matchup as well. Even though I hate Manning and the Colts, in a way you feel sorry to see him not win a Superbowl, kind of like Favre. He should get a ring at least before he retires because he does deserve it.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

Honestly the first quarter pats dominated, but couldn't keep up that pace. the RCA dome is a very heated place to play in, especially if you're used to playing in cold weather at this time of the year and have flu symptoms like media announcers said some patriot players had (don't know if there's any truth to that). This can explain the defensive implosion of the pats the last 2 quarters.

My take on it:

1.) I've never seen Manning play this well in a playoff game, especially when he's down 21-3. Instead of imploding like everyone expected him to do, for once he kept his cool and kept pushing, and this surprised New England and completly dropped their morale. By 4th quarter, Pats went from a dominant D that was making the calls to an insecure D that was reacting, and reacting very slowly. You can definetly tell how badly he wanted this game.

2.) No Deion Branch, no David Givens. Like I said earlier, Pats recievers were not as good in previous years, especially in the clutch. I feel they totally let brady down. Reche Caldwell dropping the ball while being wide open and no defenseman within 15 feet of him? What kind of bs is that.

3.) Patriots secondary. In the first quarter, they were dominating Marvin Harrison to the point where I was yelling at the TV everytime Manning tried to pass to him over say...Dallas Clark who's wide open. In fact I think Manning passed too much to Harrison at the beginning and it took an interception by Samuel to make him change his tactic. However by the end of 2nd, once he started spreading his throws out more and passing to Wayne / Clark / Addai, the weakness of the Pats secondary (aside from Samuel) was exposed. And even the front guys couldn't cut it. Only 3 sacks on Manning? Doesn't sound like New England teams of past.

All in all, this was one of the most intense games I ever watched, and I'm happy that Colts managed to win the way they did. They're finally showing grit and desire in the playoffs that is required to win the big one, just like the Steelers did last year. My take on the Superbowl? It's gonna be a boring defensive game, just like the Baltimore Ravens game was, but in the end, Manning is facing a rookie in his enemy qb, and I think this time he will be in Brady's position where he gets to watch another QB implode and win the game for him with mistakes. I think Colts showed some weakness that could be exploited (softening the D with throws then killing it with run), but they overcame it for the most part. If they can keep that up, they will win it because they are not as reliant on run as Seattle / NO were.

Can't wait.

p.s. Brett Favre won a superbowl before, against the Patriots in 1997. I think you meant Dan Marino.
