negging only works on chicks who think they are the hot sh!t

and in China even the really hot girls (in college) don't get hit on so overtly as in other countries, because every dude here is AFC

so negging them isn't as effective as usual.

it seems that lot of girls mature very quickly in terms of their self perception once they graduate from college, and I've found lots of success negging HB8-9s who are over 22, even though I'm younger than them.

Yeah, negging on undesirable mates is more just insulting really. They have low self esteem and take it as an insult then go home and cry afterwards.

It's meant for leveling the playing field by portraying yourself as not overcome by somebody elses beauty leading them to believe you are on their level even if she is more attractive than yourself. It is also conversation which help to lead them to believe you're not just like every other guy who walks up to her with a raging huge boner. Am I right?

you also have to understand that a large majority of guys neg incorrectly. the neg should produce a laugh. and yes, you shouldn't neg anyone more than once unels they are a HB and then maybe twice. but unless they are a hired gun, more than twice is ridiculous.

i'd say tone down you're negs. make them more complimentary and more subtle. the something in your hair is good as long as you've kino escalated properly. or just offer them gum.

It's all in the way you deliver, I've had good success even negging girls with pretty low self esteem, I would recommend picking something they aren't self concious about though.

Yeah, today I ordered takeout bbq and drove off to do some halloween costume shopping while they cooked it, and when I come back, she (fat) says your order's inside, and I say, "Really? I wouldn't recommend negging in traditionally conservative (or used to be)countries such as china,the middle east, some african countries and especially japan.

Since asians tend to be more direct when they speak (meaning that they rarely are sarcastic, rarely put on fake faces or shifting personalities etc...) they'll probably view the neg as how you truly feel about them.

I would, however, try a very "soft" neg or something more along the C&F bracket.

lol funny story relating to the topic. I still remember the first time I read about the 'negging' theory, back in 2005. My friends and I went to this club, and I caught a glance of these two sexy girls dancing so seductively with each other. They were obviously putting on a show for all the dudes on the dance floor. I went up to them, feeling mighty confident that negging will seal the deal, and whispered in the ear of the girl I fancied:

"Hey, I think your friend is a great dancer, you however, could use a lesson or two" and I said it with this coy smirk like I obviously didnt mean it.

The chick obviously did not have a sense of humour, because she slapped me on the face, and was really offended. Told her friend what I said, and her friend gave me dirty looks. Yeah negging for the most part usually works well with 9+'s. I tried alot of this in my day and still do today with more so 7's and 8's and it's kinda gotten me off point to carry on any further discussion, as its labled me ''rude'' but with a ''laugh'' or "astonished look" I've usually gotten through with it.

Get familiar with these, "No it isn't, How is it, Do I really, You think .., You're mean, Meany, Cheeky" etc With giggles and laughs whilst you Negg - should have positive feedback.

^^ Negging does not work to somehow magically trigger attraction (as you all have been led to expect) if you do not grasp the reason why (as Warrior said) or misunderstand how to apply it in the correct context and settings.
Firstly, negging a woman's physical attributes is almost a guarantee that it will blow up in your face. This is minefield to be negotiated for only the most seasoned of soldiers, and you guys are mostly rookies.

I would suggest that you get in some basic training first with some mild C&F to test your field skills. Work slowly and carefully. There is nothing more disheartening that over-negging a woman who really appeals to you and watch her just swivel on those heels and walk away with a look of disgust on her face because you hit her with a hammer instead of a feather.

The simple explanation is that Chinese have a different sense of humour (which is crucial in a neg). Things that work in America may not work in China. Your lines and delivery have to be adapted to the environment.

Yes I heard of Shanghai being overall more liberal than most of China. Still i have heard and read mostly awesome things about Chinese women. Most are still poor and come from conservative families. China is rapidly advancing we all know but most of its population is still poor.

I wouldn't worry about the majority of Chinese women becoming corrupted like women in America and Western Europe, not for a long time.

Wow.. I think a lot of people are getting negging and teasing(C&F) mixed up a bit.

A neg has to be really subtle, and rather than standing there with a big cheesy grin on your face you need to actually show that you are slightly less interested in her as a person as a result of what you said in your neg, and she has to try to get you back and more importantly starts to see you as an equal if not a better. It almost cannot even come off as an insult, really subtle 'secondary female' communication. The classic example is Mystery's finger nails.

Personally, I am not a fan. If shes a ***** I'd rather go and talk to someone more open. C&F is a lot more fun and gets a lot better results, and if you exagerate it and its really obvious you're messing around and having fun teasing her, you can get away with saying almost anything and still getting a laugh and it doesn't matter how their self confidence is. It is really playful and fun, like teasing your little sister or something. Again, nothing too blunt, more situational witty stuff. It is one of the key parts of my personality.
