week 1 day 6

went downtown and got 26 hi's today, which i think brings me to about 47 or something. i'll get the next 3+ tomorrow.

my smiles and hi's were so genuine and welcoming at one point that people would stop and start conversations with me, wondering if we were already acquainted.

Nemuro-HOW TO MAKE LOVE WELL, god, this lady is obviously a freak, i would have probalby tried to start a convo with her or something ("oh, i've read that book before, it ends in mutual orgasms", heh.or something of the sort)...(i don't want to get ahead of the excercises) but there is nothing to loose in going for the close; fumble, mumble, stutter, slur your words, it doesn't matter atleast you went for it, and regardless of the outcome you're vastly better off than if you didn't try at all.

day 5 week 1 well today was boring and sucked i hi'ed 3 ppl today cuz i wanted my 50th hi to be some banging chick but i wasnt in a good mood. so my anger and boringness got me to forget to look for a hot chick to hi to and hopefully start a convo but i'll get it tomoro since i have school.
49 hi's 1 to go lol well seems like everyone is doing good on their first week getting comfortable with EC and saying hi. nickell beat koskit's old record of 23 and tied the new one with 26 hi's some competiton we have here lol. i am gonna try my best to get a lot of hi's tomoro

I have had a problem with EC with people, but all that changed since day 1 at the bootcamp. Cause when u get EC with someone its eaiser to say "HI" and get a reply.
So when the bootcamp started, i'am was like a freak man. Just looking around at people and try to make EC whole the time.
Now i could never imagine that people are so scared of eachother, or the unknown?

I have 20 Hi's to do today, i will nail it. And the thing is i feel comfortable doing it now, dosen't feel like **** must i do this ****.... Its comes natural now.

Again i would like to encourge everyone in this Bootcamp to don't give up and motivate eachother whole time.

I think that we all have done excellent for the first week, now what its like 7 weeks to go before we are DJ's?

Imagine that people, just focus on the goal. The goal is to have all the girls u ever wanted and be happy about your life. Just imagine the face on your AFC friend when u are going home with HB-10 and he walks alone.. (again). Just that is worth all the work we are doing here.

Today I did my 7 that I had left and then I went to a friend and had pizza.

well i had 5 hi's today making me pass the 50 mark but i realized that we all still have a lot of harder work in order to become the dj we set our mind to be.

I'm with Silk too. I failed the boot camp in the other thread (today's the last day to get 10 convos, I only have 3), so I'm going to pick up my balls and start week 2 with you guys.

If I fail this one too, I give you all permission to flame me for being an AFC!

Week 1 day 3

Well, also thanks to my chaotic schedule I had 8 hours of class today, which meant that I had little time to go get my hi's. Still I went a while for a walk and got 9, plus 5 on university.

I'll be doing an aditional day of hi's tomorrow, because I don't feel quite natural enough yet, though I'm definetly noticing a huge improvement since I started. Since my day starts about 8 hours earlier than yours (if you are American) there won't be much difference noticed, so I think it is ok.

Thanks to Nickell and everyone for the support and cheers to everyone in the boot camp, old and new.

And finally, I must say I am pretty amazed on the results of these measly three days I have spent on this BC. Even if I retired now (which I have not the slightest intention of doing) I can say it has already changed my life. I see myself much more confident and sociable, and for the first time I feel that if I desperately wanted to find a date, I would not have much trouble to manage and get it. Damn! Tons of people need to do this, it should be prescribed by doctors, rather than stay as an obscure thing practiced by some members of a random internet forum. Cheers to Master of the Universe, Nicholas Hill and all who contributed to make the BC. Ever thought of patenting this?

In lesson 1, we learned how to convey confidence and approach strangers with a simple hi... Now we will practice small conversations (2-10 minutes) with ten strangers.

Week 2, Day 1

Busy day today, since I got up late again. Went to the library. Sat next to two girls, hi'd them and did some studying. I normally never do that but as I walked in I just moved myself towards them and sat down. I saw one of the girls had a nokia and said something about the story of exploding batteries. She said she had it for some time so it wouldn't explode. That's where the convo ended. It isn't even a convo actually. Next time I need to start talking about feelings, instead of facts, so that you can branch off to different topics.

Tomorrow I go to the city, the shops are open late. Wish me luck!

I got no convos today.

I got in a bad mood because I had some negative thoughts but I eliminated them in the end.
I walked around town and in the library but I didnt come up with anything to say.
I hi'ed a few girls tho so it wasnt a complete waste.

Rained all day, so didn't do much. Got about 7 hi's, tried to strike some convo with HB on bus stop, who answered drily and seemed largely uninterested in any talking, so I stopped after about 30 secs. A passing HB hi'ed me when we made EC which was nice. Also made occasional sittuational comments to strangers, tough none can be considered a conversation.

OK, let's get started on week 2 already. I'll also practice my hi's and EC though.

Week 2, Day 1.

I diden't leave the house today cause its damn cold now here in Sweden, but then i talked to Koskit on MSN and he told me about his day. Then it struck me that we are on a mission, so i got the right mindset and went to the gym this evning. In my mind i'am like "I'am on a mission here.... Who should i choose"

So i see a older man working out, so i walk to him saying "Hi, how its going" He says its good, then we talk some more about for 5 min. And viola! Done!

Ohhh guys, btw "B9" is still alive!! I saw him on MSN today, diden't talk to him tough. Cause he was buzy and waiting to talk to his father. (B9 is now in Asia, alone)

But he is alive and still in the Bootcamp for sure =)

Week 2 day 1

heh. this exercise is starting off for me the same way the last one did , not so good. i got into a few mini conversations today, nothing much, i only initiated one of them, which i don't think i can count as one of my ten.

the one i initiated was with a girl ( she is in my physics class, she's cute and looks soo innocent) i saw at the train station last weekend with two of her friends, all drunk off their asses (i got her friend's number that night, remember). anyway, i was in the school's library today and she came in, gave me a very embarrassed smile, and sat down with one of her friends. with about 2 minutes left in the class session, i wondered if i should go over and start a conversation with her and her friend, whom i didn't know at all.

as in all my previous approachs and ECs, my AFC mentality kicked in automatically, for a second i tried to rationalize NOT going over there, which is when is when i remembered all the articles i read, all the countless hours and sleepless nights i've spent studying, the Boot Camp i'm in right now, I'M NOT DOING ALL THIS JUST TO ****ING WALK AWAY. after about 2 second of thought i remembered the 3 second rule, stopped thinking, and went for it.

so i headed over, the drunk saw me, we made eye contact for a second, she knew i was comming, her friend had her back turned. i tried to appear as confident and casual as possible, i greeted them both, they gave me a smile and a hi. we started talking for the rest of the period and out into the halls, i tried to lean the convo towards the drunk's friend (so are u a drunk too? oh, you smoke, natural causes just isn't good enough for you uh? (heh. i didn't really ask that one, i always come up with the greates things to say when it's too late)) they were both very delighted with my recap of the drunk's behavior over the weekend, since she had forgotten most of it.

now, the reason i don't think i should count this convo is 1. the pressence of the drunk (who i knew a little) made it a three-way convo. and deleted the one on one factor, which i think is what we are aiming for in this lesson. 2. turns out the drunk's friend is in my math class and i don't think she really thought of me as a complete stranger.

Well, you guys, I am gonna have to postpone any further bootcamp development on my part. I hate to quit (and will definitely sign up once I get back home), but

A: I don't really have any interest in hooking up with girls over here. I find that the bootcamp requires a lot of focus and truth be told, I would rather be directing that focus elsewhere right now (on my travels).

B: Heading to India tomorrow and my current itenary is not particularly conduicive to socialising. It would be practically impossible for me to keep up.

Sorry.

I'll let you know when I get back home (should be around November the 5th) and will then sign up for bootcamp immediately, even if I have to do it alone.

Week 2 Day 1

Kind of rainy and quiet today, got no B/C done.

Week 2 Day 2

Had a convo with an UG (she looks like kelly osbourne, yuck) and that went on for just a little over 2 minutes. She was doing math homework, and I commented on that. I saw who her math teacher was on the sheet, and said something like "Ah, That Mr. xxx is a real jack a$$ isn't he?" She giggled and agreed .. the convo went on for a little while as we were talking about how unfair this guy is with his homework.

I'm not completely done with Day 2 yet, I'm going out tonight. I'll report back if I get any more B/C done.
