Day 2, Week 1

Well, with only 3 hi's from yesterday (couldn't be arsed) I was a bit behind the ratrace. Started poorly as I was in bad mood and didn't really try.

Anyway, ran into Zeus on Messenger, I convinced the halfassed fecker that there was no way he was ever gonna be better than me and 30 minutes later I had 12 hi's for the day. I reckon I can double that before the day is over.
The girl from yesterday hasn't sent me an email about the party like she said she would, but I am not listening to the AFC in me saying "Should I call her? Does this mean she's not interested? Why is this world such a horrible miserable confusing place????" Hell, SHE wanted me, so I am just gonna call her and ask her when am gonna meet her and where (no if's here).

Update: Ok, so I called her and it turns out she isn't even in Bangkok right now. Apparently, she had to go up north to visit a friend. Said she'd drop me a line, when she gets back in town. My initial reaction was 'sh!t, she blew me off' until I realised that the only real reason I reacted like that was because I felt that was how I should react. To be honest, it doesn't bother me at all. Yeah, it would have been nice, but life goes on. Got two more hi's without really trying, taking the total to 17.

well b9 i am going through a situation similar to yours today and i wasnt in a good mood so i got only 4 "hi"s make it total of 13 "hi"s 37 to go and damn koskit i am gonna keep in mind of all the "hi"s u gotten already and just go all out to at least get half of that tomoro lol cuz i am still a lil uncomfortable with the "hi"s.

Well for the first day i got 6 "Hi's". But i was expecting much more than this, its good that i'am going out tonight so i can catch you all up =)

The biggest problem for me is to geting EC with people, i know that you guys have a problem with that to. Why are people so afraid?

Anyway.... Now its only 6. I hope i can write like 26 when i get home tonight.

Got 10 hi's today so I'm now over 50. I will continue to do hi's for the rest of the week so I don't lose my progress.

I'm also trying to improve the timing of EC and smiling.

sup with u guys today well koskit i got 22 hi's today almost meet ur record lol damn it so close o well hi's is getting easier and today one of the girl i say hi to had this really confuse face it was so funny she looked like one those ppl in tv show like trigger happy or jackass where they have no clue wat going on. i just cant get enough of that face i should have talked to her lol.
well this make a total of 35 hi's and 15 more to go its should be easy but there is this girl who i try to get a # close with but everytime i go and talk to her something will cut me short either my friends show up and i have to leave her to greet them or my friends show up again will show up again and i her to leave her again to greet them. *sigh*

hey guys. sorry about not posting yesterday, i got caught up at a friends house and had to spend the night, he didn't have a comp., obviously.

week 1 day 3

well, after waking up at 3:15pm yesterday (yes 3:15pm, i was up all night), i took a shower, ate dinner and left the house at about 5:10 to get in some hi's. while outside i decided ot walk to my cousin's house about 4 blocks away. on the way i hi'ed everone i passed, with ease, unlike school. i didn't pass many people on the way, but it was so exhilarating that i circled my cousin's block twice to find more people before i went inside...my favorite hi was from this MILF i saw on her knees (perfect ass) cleaning out the back of her minivan, i got a nice warm hi from her and then one from her husband as he popped up out of nowhere nearly catching me eying his wife's ass. well, its not much but i got a total of six hi's in about 10mins, it was getting dark and there aren't many people around the neighborhood so i ended it there.

week 1 day 4

i hi'ed a total of 2 people so far today on my way home (that's all the ppl i saw), i came home to give my posting for yesterday, but i'll report again on day 4 later...


haha..ur a pimp Koskit, 23 hi's in one day uh. and now ur done, great. i wish i lived near the city, then i could probably get all 50 in one day, but i might go downtown tomorrow and finish off my hi's cuz it gets pretty boring circling my block all day looking for ppl and getting weird looks from neighbors when they keep seeing me every two minutes.

today was great i started this saturday art program that one of my friend asked me to join. well i c it as a great chance to meet so much new ppl and i did . wish week2 started cuz i was starting 2 min+ convo like crazy i believed i would have hit the 10 2mins+ convo if week two started . well there was this girl i want to get her # but i got my self a competition cuz this other guys was on to her like one of our dj quote "fly on sh*t" he was there where ever she was. but i got a few moment when that *cough* c0ck sucker wasnt with her and i c the chance to talk to her for about a min. plan to get her # next time i c her but how can i have a decent convo and # close her when that dush bag is always next to her and i am talking about a 10am - 5pm class and i only get to talk to her alone for most 1.5-2 mins. well any advice that u can offer me, my dj and bootcamp brothers?

week 1 day 5

well, left my house about 6:00pm tonight, i wasn't intending on getting any hi's today (i got a couple accidentally anyway). i decided on getting the last 30 tomorrow instead, in one outing.

tonight was very productive for me nonetheless, my guys and i walked downtown after eleven, we were hunting for numbers, it began raining at one point but we didn't let that stop us.

these guys had no clue where to start or what to say to the girls they saw. to make a long story short, cuz i have to get off my friend's computer, i got three numbers very easily tonight, first girl (freshman in college) was the hottest (8.5), second (6), and third (which was kinda drunk) (7), i did this with very little effort, which surprise the hell out of me, the DJB DO have its merits, believe me. it was a hell of a rush, but unfortuantely my guys (non juans/AFCs) couldn't muster up the courage to make an approach much less a number close. well gotta run, i'm getting ready to get 30 hi's tomorrow and try to beat KoSkit's record.

I got 13 hi's today. I lost a little motivation so I set a new goal to get 100 hi's.

Today i got like 20 hi's, thats a total of 26 for me. I'am going to the gym now, hope there is some people there i can say hi to =)

Today I got 26 hi's that brings me up to a total of 93 only 7 left.

My smile feels more natural today. I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Week 1 Day 1 (of 3)

OK, since I got a shorter week due to a late start I did some intensive "walking aimlessly arround the city" session for most of the day(it is a good thing I enjoy walking). Unfortunately today is sunday which means that the city is almost completely deserted. Most spanish college students return to their home on weekends.

During 11:00-14:00 I found almost exclusively senior citicens. Got some hi's from them, and others completely ignored me. At some point I got myself something to eat on the way, and I realised that I had been neglecting my eye contact exercise. Since my mouth would be full I tried some while eating. Most would look away, or not even EC me at all. I got about about 5 hi's during that time. After a while I started finding young people, too bad 95% of them were couples who decided to stay in the city so they can enjoy their free time together.

From 15:00-16:00 I actually managed to go through more than 3 km of relatively important streets without walking past a single soul. Damn, noon sucks almost as much as sundays. I went to see a movie, and made some convo with an old man who couldn't decide which candy to buy for the movie. Still no young people in the theater.

18-19 was better, with midle-aged people and some more young people (mostly couples, still). Hi'ed about 4 hb's, only 1 replied. Got some more middle to old aged hi's, and one man actually hi'ed me upon making eye contact. I must say it feels good to have your existence awknoleged by someone else, so now I feel I am doing people a favour by hi'ing them.
An interesting thing happened when I entered a cafe and this foreign (probably german or dutch) HB EC's me and smiles. I had to go to the bathroom and we just exchanged hi's while I was passing next to her table on my way. I intended to try starting a conversation with her but when I got out she was with a guy who had also been on the bathroom and left shortly after that, still smiling at me when making EC. Suddenly I realised the guy looked vaguely familiar which probably means she has seen me in college or mabie even that she stays on the same student's residence as me (we are more than 200 people here, and about 30 are foreign of which I have only met two). I'll look out for her.
Got 5 more hi's on that period, 6 counting the girl at the cafe.

After that I went to a classical concert (performed by a local string quartet) which is the only thing I had planned for today. I noticed that the two girls who manage the seats and tickets are both 9's and noticed by the way they smiled at me that they remember me from the several previous times I have been at a concert there. I made good EC and HI'ed both (tough I won't count those hi's because it would have rude not to greet them) and made a mental note to attend a concert during week 2 or 3 and start convo with them.
I overheard a HB about 25 years old behind me comment to her friends she was going to recieve piano lessons next week. I wanted to ask her about the lessons (something I'm genuinely interested in) but the performance started and I forgot about it afterwards.

On my way home, about 20:30- 21:30 there were few people (sunday means early bed to recover energy from partying and being fresh for work/studies on monday). Still got about 3 hi's from various people.

Results and Conclussions:
12 hi's, only about 3 of them from HB's. EC is hard because most people look away, and I have not been focusing enough on it. I tried to establish EC on the female of the many couples I found, which resulted in them looking away deliberately and their boyfriends giving me a less-than-friendly look. Of the few times I tried hi'ing someone without establishing EC I have always been ignored. I'm not sure about my smile. I try to smile lightly when I get EC, but as most times they look away they don't notice. It is hard for me to smile always without a reason. Also, very few of the people who responded my hi's actually smiled. Most looked startled or confused. That one man who hi'ed me before I did irradiated confidence, however.
I must say I feel improvement with the BC mindset, even at this early stage, as I usually would have never dreamed of starting a convo with a total stranger, still I almost did it on two ocassions which were truncated only by the cruel twists of fate, which does not want me to start week 2 before I'm supposed to.

I expect tomorrow to go quite better and allow me to focus on HBs, as there should be the usual crowd on the streets, stores will be open and campus will be full of life. Thanks to my chaotic college schedchule I will have only two hours of class tomorrow, so I will be doing some intensive sessions too.

Looks like everyone is doing very well, and i'am glad to see it!

I want to share a thing i'am going to do.

You know guys, i'am studing to be a computer engineer but i have got so bored with computers now..... Cause its very unsocial and unhealty to sit down infront of a computer for a long time.

So we have internship now, until X-mas. And i have a interview on friday with this company, i'am gonna be working as a salesman.

You may wonder why.. Its simple cause when you have a job like that u are always exposed with other unknown people and u have to take contact and talk to them.

I think its a genius move from my side, i'am going to a work where i can practice my social skills and doing the bootcamp at the same time.

What do you think about my plan guys?

Week 1 Day 2

I see my last post was a bit too lenghty so I'll try to keep it short.

Well, I overslept today and went out at noon. Got some hi's and went to campus, where it started raining heavily for a few hours , so almost no hi's during that period. Then I went to class, and when I finished it rained only lightly so I grabbed my umbrella and went off to the streets.

Things were a bit slow, and at some point I decided to go on a kamikaze hi'ing rampage, so I found a nicely transited street and hie'd every other person no mater their status or EC. I felt my confidence rising even if they didn't respond.

Observations:
Still they mostly didn't respond when there was no EC, and only did about half the times when there was.

I noticed I issued most my hi's under my breath, and not very clearly. The reason is because it is extremely hard for me to talk when there's no one to listen to me. If you are alone and try to speak a few words at about the same volume as if someone was listening you might notice that your voice automatically lowers itself to a whisper, that's what happens to me.
A good solution for me was to find a completely empty street, where no one would hear me, and start singing loudly (and badly). When I noticed my voice was not loud enough I started again in a louder voice. After two minutes of that my hi's were comming out loud and clear, which brought me quite better results. Too bad that happened when I was going back home, can't wait to see how tomorrow will go.
I had 3 people hi me before I did, could it be because of the EC?
As an anecdote, I hi'ed this lady on her thirties, who smiled and hi'ed back quite nicely. Then I noticed the book she was carrying was entitled "How to make love well" [insert childish giggle here].
A few people who I hi'ed gave me big smiles back, which really raised my mood. I still am not sure that my smile looks genuine. I only grin lightly most of the time. Any advice on this?

Results: Issued a bucketload of hi's and got back only about 17 which makes a total of 29 hi's. I'll have to get 21 tomorrow, which I think I can make if weather is good.

Oh, and Zeus, I think it is a great idea that you've had (I'm studying Computer engeneering too, btw, and know how you feel). Since you will also be looking at people in your job, I'd advise you to get a few books on body language. If you can learn to read it decently it should help you quite a bit in both your job and DJ stuff.
