That is the myer-briggs test; I am an INJT, which is one of the rarer types with an extreemly dominant and strongly intelligent personality, most people of this type make really good players once they get their act together. Though, relationships are a hard thing for this type.

After you take that online test, click here:

http://www.personalitypage.com/portraits.html

Then, select your four-letter typeology. It's a pretty good breakdown of the general characteristics of anyone's personality type.

Also, there are separate links on that page for your personality type in relationships, and also in careers. Very useful.

Mine's INFP--and a lot of DJ principles go directly against my natural tendencies...but so far, the results are worth it. :woo:

Interesting - perhaps I was wrong with what I said earlier.

As most people here are former AFCs, I'd expect quite a few natural introverts.

INFP... can't help my nature i suppose. In any case, I will continue persuing DJ-ness.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

WOAH! This is weird!

INFP,INTJ, and INTP people are the rarest types mostly because they don't tend to reproduce as much as the other types. People of these types also often develope highly ALPHA type personalities.

I wonder how many people in this forum are of these two types.

Im an ENTJ, aka "Field Marshall". My type pairs best with INTP's and sure enough my best friend who I chill with almost everyday, took the test and came out as an INTP. To the above poster yeah my INTP friend is the epitome of alpha male I definately give mad props to him.

I believe 80% of CEOs test this type on the real MBTI test. Reading the personality traits of this type is like reading a biography of myself. My mom used to always say **** like "if you dont like the way I do things then fire me" since I was a young teenager. Now its all starting to make sense.

Wierd is right - I'm an INTP and I would have considered myself extremely un-alpha.

Correction: the alpha (Type A) personality and the "alpha male" are totally different concepts.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Actually, they are the same concept .. People who abide by the A type social structure form classes where there are higher and lower level alphas. The lowest guy in an A type social structure would be considered the Omega ... Most men who abide by the A social structure are just lower to upper level Alphas. It mainly depends on how dominant they really are in comparison to other men.

So, whether you know it or not you belong to the A [alpha] type structure, which means you have Alpha tendencies.

If there are high and low-ranking alphas, then what's a "beta male"?

Diablo, if you see this, instead of closing it I would appreciate it if you would just merge it into one of the other non-closed threads and tell us which. You have done it to me twice so far and I can't type faster than you can close all the time.

If you actually take the time to research psychology you will
eventually find that neither one of the systems are totally
inferior. Most people are either predominatelly one class or
the other with a few rare types that are fluent in both type.
Most men who come to this forum are already A types to begin
with, they are just lower level alphas.

A true beta male probably would never be interested in coming
to this forum to begin with, because they don't regard sex or chasing women
of much value, mostly because they either have been favored
by chance [good looks, intelligence] and are handed everything
immediatelly when they want it [including women and sex] and
those things are taken for granite. Alpha types have to fight
for resources because they are unfavored, so a class system
developes, which creates other alpha males.

I am INTJ. You cannot find many INTJ, and INTP in real life since they are not very social... especailly INTJ.
In forum it might be different since it is more of an introverted medium...

The myers/briggs test is interesting in that I believe something like 70% of the population fit within thre or four personality types. That is a bit scary, but true if you think about. Most people do seem to be more alike than diferent.

What is interesting to think about, though, if that is true, is maybe the failure of some people with women has more to do more with their general personality type than any kind of application of DJ skills? Think about it, if you are somebody with one of the rarer personality types, I would think that most individuals would be turned off or confused by you?

Now of course, I don't think some 70 question test can really get to soul of person, so the point might be moot. But I do think this test might be an effective way of seeing how others view you.

Here is a experiment. Have someone how knows you well, fill out the test for you. I think you might be surprised at the results.

"Although two well-developed individuals of any type can enjoy a healthy relationship, the INTJ's natural partner is the ENFP, or the ENTP. INTJ's dominant function of Introverted Intuition is best matched with a partner whose personality is dominated by Extraverted Intuition. How did we arrive at this?"

Although two well-developed individuals of any type can enjoy a healthy relationship, the INTP's natural partner is the ENTJ, or the ESTJ. The INTP's dominant function of Introverted Thinking is best matched with a partner whose personality is dominated by Extraverted Thinking. The INTP/ENTJ match is ideal, because these types shared Intuition as a common way of perceiving the world, but INTP/ESTJ is also a good match. How did we arrive at this?

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.
