This goes out to the founder of the site, and to everyone that had input in creating the DJ Bible. I've been in and out of following the pick up game for 7 years now. And am just getting back into it, but I remember first laying my hands/eyes on the information that is the DJ Bible, and my life was just not the same again.

I was all your classic typical cases of AFC, no confidence, scared of women, no identity, did not know how to talk, stayed at home playing video games. All of it. And after reading from all the legends of the DJ board, long before the pick up game became what it is in the current age, I completely turned my life into what I wanted it to be. I didn't follow the specific steps in trying to become a PUA, nor do I consider myself a PUA, but I took and learned what I wanted out of all of this, and am forever grateful for everything that this site has done for me. I decided to get this tattoo when I was talking to one of my close friends about the DJ board (because he was there with me from the beginning), and I realized the DJ Bible had that much of an impact on me. That I knew my life would have gone down a completely different path had I not read those simple posts that gave me so much perspective and insight. So seven years later, I am finally saying thanks!

Actually I've already gotten a few comments about it, and I have just been deflecting as "an article I read that completely changed my life." Left them intrigued. Also been asked by women what the letters stand for. I could use some suggestions or funny spins on a story and on what the letters stand for. Any ideas?

I gather you have posted far more than these two posts in seven years and are doing this under a different name? What was your actual name here?

Here is an example of the small minority of guys who DO NOT POST or even sign up, but try to adapt what the DJ bible promotes into action (Well he must do, since he's got it inked on his skin for life).

I like it - Cool Black & Grey fine line shading work - What to say if asked? Well I've seen people with references to the 48 Laws of Power and other famous quotes on there skin, like silly common ones such as "Only God can judge me" so the DJ Bible shouldn't be an exception, it's equally up there with all the other life improving theories. - Just look up Don Juan and what it entails, give some description on that (Might not want to portray you're the Casanova Don Juan rake-type though as this may give you a "Player" vibe from brainless chickenheads - Just tell em its a way of mind, improvement etc,) and then tell them about the book overall. My 2 pence dude!

To answer why I did it. Simply twenty years from now when I look back on life and reflect on who I am as a person, or what I've done throughout the years. The DJ Bible was THE turning point, THE defining moment. Like I said, I didn't solely use the DJ Bible to go pick up chicks or learn how to hook up with girls. It was a complete lifestyle change, it taught me how to be a person.

From focusing on building inner confidence, how to dress, how to present yourself, how to be vocal, proper etiquette, how to talk properly, how to be observant. I mean maybe all of you questioning me have some or all of these skills your entire lives. Well two thumbs up for you, have a cookie and shove it. I did NOT have ANY of those qualities growing up, they just weren't taught to me until this DJ board came into my life. Maybe you guys learned it from your parents or siblings at a young age or are just natural at it, well I'm not embarrassed to say I had to learn about it from reading a forum online. Being raised in an Asian household, learning how to build character and personality, and a lifestyle wasn't acceptable. The only thing that mattered was grades. Might sound unfathomable to you guys but that's how I was raised.

From being passive, a doormat, quiet, and the guy that stood in the background at parties, pre-DJ. To the alpha male, to the person that everyone didn't want to leave at parties, the person that gets told "man it won't be the same if you don't come out with us." This DJ board was the one single moment that will stand out in my life where I can absolutely look back, point to it and say I am the person that I am now because of it and nothing else.

I haven't kept up with the forums for a while, so maybe things have changed. The bible I realize, to all these newer folks that are members from 2006, 2008, 2009 just might not understand the bible like I do. Because the resources for self-help, pick up game, and all that are infinite nowadays with all these books, shows, radio interviews, and videos. Well back then there may have only been a handful of places you could go for this information and the sosuave was one of them. You might even look at the DJ bible right now and think all that stuff is wrong, and maybe in 2010 some of that stuff might not work, but in 2003 all those things did work, that's why they were there. Back then, on this board we exclusively used the term DJ to described somebody with game, before the term PUA started becoming popular and more widely accepted. Some history for you younger kids.

As far as my board name goes I stopped logging in back in 2004, and was a member in early 2003 or late 2002. That's why I have the MMIII on the spine of the bible, to remind me of when the turning point was for me. But I can't remember the name, I even tried a member search from specific dates and went through the list of 12,000 names trying to see a name that would jump out at me and click in my head but it didn't work. But if after reading this, you can't see how passionate I am about this, or think I got the tattoo on a whim. I put a lot of careful thought into it, and I would be proud to take this tattoo to the grave with me.

"SO IF U GET ANOTHER great idea say from a grocery store ad or a bumper sticker, youtube video will they too get a tatoo placement."

Nice try at being a smart ass, but what life changing, great idea would there be in a grocery store ad, bumper sticker, or youtube video? Two things became obvious to me when you posted. You don't have the slightest clue as to the importance of the DJ bible and what it really means. And you must be in high school still cause your English is broken, and you can't spell for sh*t. So maybe you should focus on your education before you focus on trying to be funny and disrespectful because I will burn you to the ground.

Aside from all the seriousness. If you look around. People get way stupid-er sh*t tattooed on them for no reason. I could have got a tribal tattoo, stars, random quotes, dragons, Chinese characters, or a phoenix but then I would look like every douche-bag/gangster wannabe that's on the street. Or I could have been different an got an egg-roll tattooed on my arm. Well I wouldn't do that, but you get the idea, knowing that there wouldn't be another person on the planet with the tattoo I have reminds me to not always follow the crowd.

I could have taken a quote from a specific post in it, but there isn't a quote that could sum it all up. And quotes on males look dumb. I wanted an image that would invoke and portray what it was all about.
