Just my 3 cents, but if you pre-established that tennis was on the agenda and she didn't live up to it, after giving her numerous other suggestions, then you did the right thing by leaving.
What you said could have been phrased better, maybe. Something along the lines of:
"Well I drove an hour to have some fun, not sit around and make small talk. If you want to do what we both agreed on, let's do it. If not, I'll see you around."
Then you leave if she's not up for it. Don't say anything or whine. Just leave. Your a man and she's got to respect your time.
What you SHOULDN'T have done, was tell her you made it back ok. If you wouldn't have said anything and waited a few days, there's a chance she might have apologized. But now, you can forget it. Just move on and look at this as a learning experience.
