She is justifing her poor behaviour. She thinks she deserved secutiy even after admitting she never loved her husband. She thinks she deserved security after using her husband. to recover from this hours, days, weeks - it’s individual dependent. This drop below baseline is why one often feels depression after a great experience - think post-vacation blues.

Learning to manage this cycles is key to long term happiness.
