Maintaining your online persona is more important than actually living it

If So Suave truly is an improvement site at what point is actually living the life you claim to be living more important to be living rather than just sitting online for Ex. (a decade or so) maintaining the act?

I have lived it but don't live it but when I lived it, I found it was tough to be online. When you work and are living the life, you don't have that much time to argue on a forum about pointless stuff. What I have found is that forums like these often draw guys whose best days are past them, guys who want to know how to get there, guys who are often bragging to get ego validation, or bored guys looking to waste time. Very rarely will you find the alphas posting on such forums, their lives are too great and full of too much to even bother.

When first came I was soaking game, posting classic field reports, battling with the titans, than i left, came back left rinse and repeat

When I'm gone that means life is going well, when I'm back it's either to brush up on **** I forgot or get more material for my youtube channel!

Not necessarily. Some guys may be living very good times and they just feel like sharing it with the community.

I prefer to stick around here even when things are great, rather than peel off, lose some frame and get slapped in the face again.

Keep reality at the forefront and you won't have to be rehabilitated later.

Actually living the life I claim to be living is far far better than impressing you guys, there's simply not anything to gain from the latter.

And you know I'm not lying about them making the shyt up, I post the links from when they said one thing, then completely said something different.

I understand if a lot of you guys don't take this seriously to even care, but I actually do take it seriously because this is like a personal journal of mine.

- You have a guy who claims he's making $100k a year in 2015 working in I-Banking, later reveal in 2017, that in 2015 he was living on overdraft with debt up to his a.ss. All the while, he runs around saying my $200k net worth (which is REAL) is fvcking piker shyt YET he's no where NEAR that net worth level.

- Then you have another guy, who bashes my financial plan of growing in your career and investing in Index Funds, as some fvcking piker shyt, and his alternative is for guys to put their money into some sort of real estate that will appreciate by 15% per year, every year, for the next 20 fvcking years.

Now I don't care if you like Tenacity or not, you know dude that those two dudes are completely full of shyt man. And it pisses me off cause I DO take this website seriously and they clearly are online frauds.

There's still nothing for you to gain from sharing your life on this forum, other than a bunch of guys giving their unfiltered opinion whether you like it or not. It's irrational to be emotionally invested in this site to the extent that some random guys bullsh!t story triggers you. It's them who in reality is losing, because they're not honest so we can't give them proper advice.

This forum isn't a pissing contest. Proving to all the other members how fvcking awesome you are doesn't actually win you anything. Some lying piece of sh!t claiming to be awesome doesn't win anything either, he won't cause you to lose anything and he's the actual loser.

You really shouldn't take this forum so seriously that it can piss you off. Especially about your own story, it will just show you're ego driven, care about external validation from strangers on a forum and ultimately that you haven't learned the most important lessons of this forum.

This is a very relevant question and should really perpetually be on the forefront of the minds of Men here.....

The time that's been used to type words and read posts here is eating into the time that could be spent productively contributing to
one's real life goals or/and taking action in the field.

I know I know, a lot will view their time here as being productive as they may be learning or maintaining their knowledge. However, there's a
certain daygamer who has a certain "mantra" that goes a little something like "10% theory/90% action". 90% of the time needs to be out there contributing to your goals, earning a living, staying in shape, being social, approaching women, going on dates, getting laid, being with friends, traveling, experiencing the world..........

10% theory/90% action......the self aware man will be all too awake to this fact and if the balance is going too far into theory it should eat away at his mind like a little worm.....

I did put it to PK before that if he was living the "alpha lifestyle" who on earth did he have the time to write thread after thread after thread and get into so many flame wars............his response was "I type on my lunch break and slow time in work". Fair enough, impossible for me to type while in work though....

One must wonder with the recent barrage of "money buys things" threads, how these really financially successful men find the time or even the inclination to post thread after thread after thread.........one would think they would be more concerned about making money and not about inflating their ego..........

....oh well, each to their own.

I honestly don't know buddy. It might be something I still have to workout inside of me. It might come from growing up, when people would say shyt I didn't like, disagreed with, or even when people would talk shyt to me.....I never SPOKE UP.

Today, it seems like now it's my "duty" to always speak up, but that's completely unproductive. Honestly, I hate logging in here and having to respond to just bickering. It's just unproductive and it's not helping me sort out any problem I have, achieve any goal I have, or anything.

Like those arguments I had with Poon King......I absolutely hated them. If I could go back in time, I would have never participated, even though I did believe the guy was creating an online character....I still would have just kept my thoughts to myself.

I can completely understand that. I used to not speak up for myself too, but that's different from when I don't care to respond now. Back then it was because I didn't have the balls, now I do have the balls but I've gotten wiser not wasting my time and effort.

I know we've had our heated discussions and disagreements, it was stupid and I don't believe any of us enjoyed it. This is an ego thing, nobody wins.

Next time you feel tempted, ask yourself if there's any chance the other guy will bother listening. If you don't think so then don't bother responding. If you get a sh!tty response then responding won't magically change their mind.
