Long story short I've lived by myself for the first two years of college, now I'm back at home living with my god damn parents cause I did bad at college and I'm goin to community college now. There are plenty of banging chicks at my community college, problem is I live with my parents for the time being and I'm not really trying to bring a girl to my parents house. Am I basically screwed and should not even try at this stage in my life?

I'm not going to comment on your studies, its not my business. Remember college isn't for everyone,I stopped going after a year of community college with a 3.0 GPA. I didn't like it at all.

You live with your parents? So do I,so I know where you are coming from on this. Alternatives to a house;car, park, her house and a hotel/motel.

Yeah you guys got to get out of that situation. The longer you stay the more messed up your going to be. I'm in the same boat but I'm getting the hell out.
You got to live your own life and grow as a person.

hell...i'm living with my parents and loving it! I just sponge, not that I want to, but I'm not exactly ashamed of it either. I don't know, its kinda cool for me cause I get to spend my money on s.hit to make me look better. Clothes, accessories for my car, etc. haha! but it does suck not being able to bring the girl home. so...her place.

living w/ parents will put a damper on your sex life. i moved back w/ my parents for a year when i was in my mid-twenties. some girls were turned off by that fact alone. if the girl you're trying to score w/ doesn't have her own place, it becomes a challenge. if you like the car route, great. suggesting hotels always suck because it kills the natural flow of sex just happening. but maybe i'm being pessimistic because i know one guy in particular who's in his early 30's. he lives w/ parents and gets laid all the time.

I don't know about the rest of the "advice" given by a couple under 21 year olds, but all I can say is, do it. Date girls, try not to worry about the home situation, when a girl is horny and so are you, nothing will stop that.

ah

Some girls don't give a damn if you live at home with your parents or not. It seems like girls ages 17 to 19 don't really even factor it in. For them its more like "Do you have you drive?" hahahaha

Funny how there was this 20 year old girl that told me "why do you want to move out? you have it made at home..." But ever since I have been moved out I'm happier and more confident which really helps me in the dating world...

At this point in your life... If you feel like being a monk and staying away from women, at least work on your self... To sum it up, go to the gym, whiten your teeth, get a tan (if you are white), school, work/budget money, work on your creidt etc... Aka being productive...

I am sure they were also turned off by the fact that you didn't have a nice car, didn't buy them expensive gifts, didn't dress as they would like you to dress, didn't take them out to nice enough resturants, didn't make them feel sexy enough (even though they were chubby or fat and lacked any sensuality), didn't give them enough attention while not crowding them, etc.

Look, the American female is never going to be happy these days. If you must chase after the chubsters just understand that. If it isn't one thing....It's another.

Everywhere you want to be.... I'm like a Visa card
If you already have a car, then save for a house. It doesn't have to be a great house, but decent enough. Why do I say a house and not an apartment? Because when you're ready to move out of an apartment, you have nothing to show for it. All that time you've been paying rent for nothing. At least if you are making payments on your house, you aren't wasting it. You still have that house when its all said and done. You can then either rent it out to people or sell it, getting money for your next house. Go thru a few houses like this, and you can be like a mini-realtor. With enough people paying you rent, you can make a little network and maybe even make enough money to not have to work. Imagine that.

A bit off subject, but true... Keep in mind you have to build credit/rental history/job history before you can finance a decent house. Do you own property?

If I were to try to finance a house right now, I'd be stuck in a junk house that would be in a bad neighborhood... For the next year to year 1/2 I'm going to rent. Once my credit is built up enough I'll get a decent house. Also I am paying off furniture and decor so I'll actually have stuff to put in a house when I get one...

Wow! I thought I was the only person thinking this way. I'm 18 and as far as I know I'm the only one saving to buy a house in my age group. Why dont more people realize that renting ends up nowhere? So what if you have to ride out your parents for housing until you are 21 or 22 to BUY YOUR OWN HOUSE.

it's reality man. if you're in your midtwenties and up still living w/ mom and dad, it's definitely not going to make you look good.

i got kicked out of my house at 18.. right after highschool.. my mother had emotional and ... jesus more issues then a newstand... i lived in my car for 6 months and then got a job at a gas station, till i could save and get a roomate... 7 years later... i live in a small efficieny... i wish i could have stayed at home and saved... Everyone i know lives at home... and is around 22-25 and have cars worth more then everything i own. Friend just bought a $24,000 350z and a 2006 yamaha r6. $9,000...cash... i drive a 1988 honda prelude, wich i picked up for $800... yes im jealous but then again.. my life experience exceeds alot of other people in my age group. Most of them wouldnt know how to budget there money and have never been on there own. I dont see alot of these kids in my generation leaving the house till 30. They just have it too easy.

Sooner or later your age catches up with you.
If your at a certain age and still living at home alot of women I tell you will label you as a loser home boy with no life ambition.

When you live at home you get USE to the condition of being taken care of by mom and pop. This is a very dangerous habit to developed if your not aware.

As you age women wants a man who knows and can prove that he can take care of himself. She respect you more for that and instinctively find you alot more sexy (its a nature biological thing).

Yep, put it off and don't worry about it; have no plan what so ever. If the time comes around when you are with a woman (slim chance) and she's into you, she's not going to care that you live with your folks. The back seat of your car or in an alley behind a garbage dumpster will do. Be sure to have enough $10 bills on you, I doubt that they'll give you change for a $20.

Yeah I live at home currently right now. (for a couple weeks until I move into a new appartment) Don't let it stop ya. I'm a junior in college and just the other week I met and hooked up with a froshie in the dorms. Dorm rooms and study rooms are very helpful in this kind of situation. Cheers :D

Also like someone had mentioned having a car is vital if you live at home. Lots of girls that live in the dorms dont have cars so this raises your value considerably.

Lots of good replies here. However, you are forgetting something. Staying at home with your parents have many advantages. You can finish college and not have to worry about rent/utility/bills AS MUCH. At this stage, your education is most important. Secure that future and the panties will drop. I guarantee you wont regret it.
