Serenity and The Devil's Rejects? Yeah right.

And is Alfie supposed to be on both lists?

Even though Tom Cruise totally AFC'd in this movie....Vanilla Sky, I thought the overall message was awesome.

"Every second that passes was another chance to turn it all around."

That's an excellent list Charm.

You forgot

Goodfellas
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest
Night Of The Hunter
Kelly's Heroes
Once Upon A Time In America
The Last Picture Show
Dangerous Liaisons
Raging Bull

and my all-time favourite - Head, The Monkees film (co-written by Jack Nicholson)

And, of course the seminal Bachelor Party. Hanks is a total DJ in that.

What is this sh*t on this forum? Tom Cruise "AFC'd" in Vanilla Sky? What, when he was crying over his father's death bed? Pull the dj bible out of your ass.

I'd suggest Sideways. Many people don't like this film. I do and this is why:

You have one AFC who is miserable in life, and his more outgoing friend out banging girls and wondering if getting married is the right thing for him. It shows that life is what you make of it.

I did miss one Flew and Goodfellas even though I have them! I forgot to list those two and they are great...

Those other movies you listed however are probably worth checking out and I shall!

I didn't mean to double-list any. I did struggle with adding Serenity at the end but threw it in there because it is a good one.

The original Alfie with Michale Caine was much better, imo.

I'd add Training Day to the iist. Even though Denzel used it in the wrong way, I can't think of a film that was more about raw masculinity.

If you want an injection of awesome that will make your testicles explode from the glory of sheer dominance, you must see 300. I wish King Leonidas was my dad.
